SPORTSBOOK GUIDE | https://forum.stake.com/guides/intermediate/decimal-fractional-or-american-what%E2%80%99s-the-difference-r16/

Sports are on the way!
Do you know the difference between Decimal, Fractional and American odds?
If not, this is a must read before you start betting!

Seeing how the stake forum now has a topic about sportsbooks as well can we say that its very close now for stake/primedice team to have their own sportsbook? We know you guys have been working on it for a while now and we have been waiting for it for months now but the time is getting closer for the regular seasons to start, hell it started in some countries already, so it would be awesome to finally get it.

A stake/primedice team sportsbook would get at the top of crypto sportsbook list very quickly, it wouldn't be worried like all other new ones because we already know the team and you guys so we would flock to it very quickly. Was the topic to figure out which type of wager you guys will use or is it just to make a small talk? If its to find which one than I would say decimal is much more simpler to me.

jdagger probably have wagered a lot more than that too, is there like a method we can check these players pages without clicking them? I know checking the high rollers and then clicking on their name to see more details about these people but I don't know how I can check them without clicking, so I have to see their names and click to see right now, without clicking just writing on some search type of thing to see is not available as far as I know, maybe it has something to do with links?

Like maybe https://stake.com/user/jdagger type of situation? I know that link leads to nowhere probably but is there something like that available? There are tons of people I would love to follow like social media style but I can't because I don't know how I could do it.

Nice winning amount and I never try to play just like the amount of bitcoin. He lucky because he win but for sure if he lose he will cry because that is very huge amount of bitcoin. But because he have a lot of bitcoins so that's why he can able to play what ever amount he want and Im curious how much is his biggest amount of winning and biggest amount of lossing for sure it is very big money also.

Yes and that's why you need to stop as soon you see you will most likely bust.
Or just calculate your odds and you will end up fine by using different strategies.

Becoming an High Roller has never been so easy.

jdagger shows us just that:

He was betting at 1.1x multipler which very risky to losing 0.05 while he only won 0.005 from those bets. But the one is more interesting is the guy with "hidden" stats, he was able to hit 420x multiplee with 20k sats, wonder how many satoshis he spent to hit that with ~0.08 btc profit

Yes I agree with you that its a very risky way of betting. I remember a few years back I wanted to move my rank up with Primedice and I wanted to have a big wagered BTC. And I found out that the fastest way would be to bet on a safe multipler such as 1.1x or so. That way you can bet like 1 BTC and chances are you will win and it very quickly moved up your overall wagered BTC while keeping a high probability of winning.

Basically it worked well... until it didn't. I think I remember I ended up hitting 2 losses in a row with 1.1x and ended up losing a huge chunk of my BTC holdings at the time. So it looks like a surfire way of gaining a large BTC wagered account however eventually luck won't be on your side and you will end up with a large loss which usually is higher that the smaller wins that you won prior.

I think I won like 0.1 BTC about 4 times so 0.4 BTC but when I hit that loss I ended up losing 2 BTC so in the end lost over 1.6 BTC.

As far as I can see, this kind of flat betting with high amount but low payout is happening very often especially when there is a race. The main purpose is to wager as much as possible with low risk to win something from the race. Indeed it is risky bet but if someone is able to afford the lose then I can say that it is the best betting strategy to used on the race.

If you are active on the telegram group of stake your find many races which give good amount on wagering the highest amount.
Yes this this can be easily achieved by wagering high amounts with low odds but a one single loss will give you a big loss.

There was a news that stake will be starting the sports betting feature too ? Is it also delayed ?
Although i am enjoying the games at stake.com but i eagerly looking forward for stake to start the sports betting for all the popular sports.
Have heard rumors of this feature from quite sometime now and it is disappointing that it has not been added so far which means that the rumors are probably fake and I don't think sports betting will be provided at Stake at any point in the near future.

Was looking forward to using another crypto sportsbook, but the only addition in recent times was the crash game and nothing else. Lets see what happens in the future.
What sports betting feature ? They don't have to add this feature because you can do it manually or set it up with the auto bet.

They have an old guide that covered this topic and this is probably what noormcs5 read before and I remember this was also posted here by one of their brand managers.

Are you sure you understand what i meant by sports betting where you bet on live matches. You cannot set sport betting feature manually without the odds...lol
The article which you provided is about the multi bet feature and it has nothing to do with sports betting feature.

? I was clearly talking about the addition of sports betting on Stake which is why I don't understand why you are talking about the casino game bot in this regard and noormcs5 was talking about the same(Sportsbook feature).

Rumors have been circulating for quite sometime that Stake would allow players to bet on various sports soon, but it never happened like Fortunejack etc. They could still provide it if there is enough demand for it.

I would wait for the official response on this from the site because i remember it was not a rumor, there was really planing of introducing sports betting on stake. I do hope that it is only delayed and we will hear something positive about it soon on stake.com

I noticed a mistake in your article

Quote
If you’re having $50 on Real Madrid:

3.80 x 50 = $190
Your return includes your original stake - meaning your real profit is $190.

Since the payout includes the original bet, the real profit is 2.8 * $50 = $140, not $190

Thank you for the heads up.
You could also explain this as a review on the topic.

In that case the macro changes of course has a huge impact, we are talking about times when it was 20 thousand and times when it was 3 thousand and of course there was a lot of difference between them, not only in casino stand point but as a whole crypto world where a lot of money has went out of the market so it would only makes sense that the amount of wagered and amount of gamblers must have dropped or increased according to the price.

I was merely talking about how 10-12-8 probably doesn't matter that much, it must still have tiny affects of daily 10800 or 10400 price but I am sure not that much, probably small enough to not even realize if a whale just gambles for example. Hence, micro sense I think its not a big deal but on macro scale like that there must be some.
