Whale or not that guy has won a huge amount of money in a single bet, and I’m sure he would have been over joyed by it.
And the gambler would surely be proud of it because not everyone could get the same winning experience.
Not all whales always end up winning, We should always check their current statistics to see if they are on the positive winning zone. But winning big amount on a single bet is a true life changing experience. My biggest winning so far was 0.002 on a single bet of 20k sats on x10 limbo and it already feels good

It looks like Stake has joined in celebrating Prime Dice sixth birthday, with a contest that all can participate and hope to win as the minimum bet amount is very low. What will happen if the number of participants crosses 200+, will stake increase the amount of the price pool if yes by how much.

$56k in a single bet is a good lot of money and that is why people are involved in betting and gambling. Can you imagine if you can get $56000 in a few hours ? No, You cannot.
It is only gambling which gives us chances of wining high amount and change our fortune.
Okay that's fair and all but at the other side of the spectrum is gambling can cause you to completely rip yourself a new one. having the mindset that this is achievable to most people is flawed in my honest opinion. play for fun and only bet what you can afford to lose or else you could end up like one of the poor souls who end up in a bunch of debt because that gambled to hard

I think the winner is not a whale? Only he/she is kinda who invested btc in the early stages when its price is still low? Now they only bet for fun. Or the bettor has balls of stone to do this!

That's a heck of a win and I can't even image how someone could even think about putting 1200$ on a single bet. Its probably either some rich guy who doesn't have anything else to do with his money or its a person that likes danger and playing risky but either way most people can't even get a x50 win playing on a few satoshi what about 0.18btc. I can even suspect him being on a loss right now because of all the losses he probably had before this bet and unless he stopped then all the losses he had after this bet as well. Nevertheless, this is a big win, someone rich or poor doesn't matter managed to win over 50 thousand dollars from a single bet and that shows how big crypto is, an over 9 bitcoin win equals to over 50 thousand dollars for him.

I agree in that these challenges are what it makes any gambling experience more than just simple gambling and with a lot more socialising prospectus. I think this is an example of the types of experiences more sites should think about because we all enjoy a challenge every now and then.

I didn't check the logs but are you guys sure he only made 1 bet and just stopped betting. Or did he do various bets of different sizes and finally got lucky on that win? If so its crazy and I agree with you that he might of just did a fat finger bet where he accidentally wanted to put 49.5 in the "Win Chance" instead he got confused and put it into the "Payout" option.
Since its a 49.5x chance with the house edge he only has a 2% chance of winning, so its indeed lucky but also not that unbelievable. You can probably hit even 99x chance without too much effort, even if you do only 1 bet.
And I agree with the above poster. $1K is really nothing to most rich people. Honestly there are some upper middle class people that probably don't mind losing $1K a week at the casino, and if someone is an early bitcoin adopter then $1K is definately not that much money.
