Its Tim hortons vs. Starbucks in my hood and the drive thru for Tim hortons in the mornings is usually 15 cars deep. Feels like they have one every 4 blocks too.

We also had at one point a Starbucks on one side of the street and directly across the street was another Starbucks. Kind of a famous spot because of that fact, they eventually closed one down after the mayor turned the downtown core into a utopia for bikes. End rant!

I prefer to brew my own,I kind of get nervous and feel judged when I enter a Starbucks. Like I choose wrong and everyone is going to exhale in a dramatic fashion and roll their eyes.
They ask to many damn questions..

How would you like that?
Monkey handled or Walrus slobbered?
Cream of Donkey or Non Fat Zebra blend?

Oh and the damn cup sizes!!! Why are they unable to understand I want a medium? Refuse to call the cup some crazy term to be in.
Do not need a lesson either or the dramatic look like I am from mars.

So I prefer to brew my own and I do not stick a pound of butter in it like that crazy bulletproof coffee hacker does.

I used to binge drink the stuff back when I was stressing out for exams in college, or for intern projects at my many past internships.  Now I just drink clean water, with the occasional craft brew on the weekends.
That's nice.
It's good for your body.

Good for you. I don't drink enough water as it is.

I am quite fond of Starbucks, though I should really find something I can make at home for cheaper.

i have been in Starbucks in Kusadasi Turkey last year. The coffee is good, all the cheesecakes are very delicious but the prices are very big. Maybe it is because i come from a country with low salaries but they are expensive Smiley Find their recipes on the internet and make your own Starbucks coffee at home Smiley

Save your money and don't buy either. Instead, get a good French roast, or another dark one, from the local grocery store, making sure it's whole-bean. Get yourself a one-cup coffee cone and filters to go with it. Also find an electric coffee/nut grinder and you're set to go.
