Wow!! I had no idea how much traffic some of those sites get. I wonder what their main sources of traffic are, whether it's free or paid, from affiliates, search engines, social media or whatever. But I would say as more people start using crypto, these figures will only increase.
yea bitcoin gambling is driving more attention everyday than traditional money ! a big portion of traffic is driven by bitcointalk forum though signatures mainly like the one i'm wearing  , also some of these websites try to rank in search engines keywords.

I wonder if these figures though are accurate . i mean how come was the website able to pull out these numbers , from what i know these numbers are confidential .

Are there any statistics on how gambling with Bitcoin (and crypto generally) develops? I would be interested if it increases or decreases. From time to time there are articles on media like Coindesk but I'm not sure if you can believe the data.

I imagine that gambling with bitcoin as opposed to fiat currency is more risky because the proxy of a 'digital currency' doesn't hold the same mental weight value. That was the case for me anyway, because I could justify that I was only losing 'magical internet coins' instead of real money. Unfortunately, this all happened back in 2014, so my magical internet money would eventually be worth over 100x paper money.

Yes, the use of digital currency as gambling is very risky especially when there is a great chance that in a couple of years time you'd just lost a fortune.
but if a digital currency is used not from a personal pocket, in the sense that digital currency is dead money obtained from the profits from other activities, I think it's only natural that we do gambling using bitcoin because we don't feel loss because of the money we use to gamble is the result of the profits that we have earned and not taken out of our personal pockets

This thread as per observations, was enough to get updates of the sportsbetting. If somebody will create a thread, it must be accurately detailed with current issues. Hopefully this will give every interested gamblers more reliable feeds from different bitcoin statistical data, which will help them with their goals in betting strategies.
I don't think this thread shall be enough for that statistic but if ever someone will create it he must know what he's doing.

Agree with the accuracy of data and it should be also from some source who's reliable to gather those data to make the stats informative.

Online gambling, with and without Bitcoin, has grown drastically in a number of countries around the world, but some, such as the US and Russia, have imposed very strict regulations regarding the policies against online gambling. The reason of its increasing number of Bitcoin gambling is the anonymity and  the ease and speed of withdrawals and deposits. As well as the lack of fees that are charged to the players.

Yes, you are right. But all the casinos are based in tax havens like Malta, Gibraltar or a Caribbean island. Bitcoin Gambling is also almost anonymous. For this reason, there are also a lot of users from the states like USA and Russia gambling in online Bitcoin casinos. I am not aware that there has ever been a judgment therefore.

Yes these advantages of playing gambling online using bitcoin or some other crypto currencies encourage people to play gambling online. It really make it more easy, convenient and safer for the gambling to play gambling anonymously and without knowing about their gambling activities to anyone.

Are you the one that collected this stat or you have some reference with these numbers?

If this is yours how you managed to gather these stats? well I'm just curious to know but if not then put at least the reference/link where you got it.

I am interested to know if there is a website about statistics for sport betting which to show the total number of sport betting websites that accept bitcoin, their overall deposit and withdrawal status so it can give us a better overview of how sport betting is in bitcoin.
Ideas coming in, what if someone can create a thread for these stats? or do we have an existing one?

If you are looking for the traffic statistics then you can launch your own project to track the data because traffic statistics are available in the internet. I see someone has already pointed out the data based on bounce rate.

However, if you are looking for the crypto gambling data based on the amount spend or bankroll details, then you will be disappointed because majority of the gambling websites won't provide any such data to keep themselves safe from hacking attempts.

I know that it should be way below the giants like bet365 but still it would be good to know so we can have an overview on what numbers are there.

NLNico's website contains interesting information (total wagered, daily bets, total invested, etc) from different Bitcoin dice sites including alts. I know there's another website that compiles the stats of different Bitcoin gambling sites (not limited to dice) but I can't remember the exact name. I'll edit this if I can find them.

Edit : After a few minutes of searching I have some good news and bad news. Good news is that I found the site it's called TheBitcoinStrip. The bad news is that they took down the casino stats page.

Thanks for your effort!
NLNico's is exactly what I was looking for. Since it is a relatively new site, long term statistics about Bitcoin gambling usage is not provided.
Any further similar sites?

The very first statistics is, always google the name of your preferred gambling site before depositing any money on it. Blog articles, reviews are always fake and only links on bitcointalk can give you a proper overview of the website.

Yup, dicesite's is is really the only decent option out there. Also if you check https://dicesites.com/graphs it'll also show sites that are not strictly dice sites but have open stats (like bustabit, which is probably the most popular casino (with open stats?))

Yeah, thebitcoinstrip used to be good. But it was sold to a new owner who only really cares about pushing ref links. I wouldn't take anything it says very seriously
