I see the one being talked about the most is signature campaign.
That can't be called "steady" for me.
Because it depends in your effort everyday/every week.
What if you got busy today and did not make a single post? No income?
What I mean by steady is an investment. Where you're just sitting about in your house while you earn money.
But Investment can go either way . How can you be so sure that the investment will give you steady income ?  Every investment is risky . I think Steemit can give you steady income , but yes your effort is needed . If your article is good , you can earn much . I don't think there is a way to earn constant amount of bitcoins without hard work .
it's indeed steady earning need a hardwork to be realized just like offering service so nothing to risk, investing will only give small profit and sometime it'll drive us to bankrupt when the thing that we invest is just failure so it's definitely not a steady way to earn bitcoin, you'll feel bad every you remember your investment

Mining may be good way, but you will need a big capital in the beggining. Sig campaigns pay low prices but it's still good if you have time for doing that. Faucets give you very low payment and I think that's a bad choice.
As said, I believe signature campaign would be a standard source for steady income though it is bit less. What we need is a quality of posts and the posts must be relating to the threads you post. We have many say, trading would bring loss many times. It fully depends up on the market rate of the bitcoins. Since the value is going up and down, it really needs lot of money to invest in running this particular business.

You should be satisfied with the earnings from signature even if its paying less, as it doesn't involve risk of loosing money like trading, and you can expected fixed income weekly.

What advice can you give to someone who wants to earn bitcoins online ,however not through faucets
You may join here in forum by applying signature campaign. These is the best alternative to earn bitcoin and you can earn here much bigger than to claiming faucet. By posting you can receive bitcoin in week or monthly its depend to sig manager what is rule.

Yeah signature campaign is better in compare to earning from faucets as faucets will pay you very low and it will surely waste your time, so its better to start earning from signature.

Wait do newbies have chances at Signature Campaigns?

The ones I've looked into either don't seem active, (look at the future,) Or there aren't very nice things said of them in comments I've read.

you shouldn't really join a signature campaign as a newbie!
hang around the forum for a while and rank up, read the rules of the forum if you don't want to get banned. and more importantly learn more about bitcoin before you can even post about it.

Actually, newbies are probably the ones who would benefit most from a signature campaign, not that the three that would accept newbies listed at https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-of-bitcointalk-signature-ad-campaigns-last-update-01-jan-23-615953 are mentioned in comments in other threads to be good choices, Also, someone who doesn't know anything probably couldn't offer more than opinions, though, there are plenty of threads in this section alone that allow for just that.

Now, I'd already written 2 college papers about bitcoin, altcoins and the blockchain when etherium was little more than a white paper and a website, Just how much more I should learn before you deem it would be alright for me post about what I know or have an opinion on? A low post count doesn't necessarily mean that someone doesn't know anything. As for the rules, I'd lurked here awhile before I made this account, therefore, it's not a huge stretch that the meta section might have been looked at too.

It would benefit you in the future to wait to judge someone until you've seen more than one comment and a post count.

If you are any good at trading, bitcoin trading at a trustable exchange is a great way to earn some extra bitcoin on the side.  If you are not any good at trading, you may want to offer some sort of service to other users. There are to many scams on here and to many people trying to take advantage of other members, so if you run an honest service, you can make some good coin.

Trading is a good way to multiply your coins, but it will never give you a steady income, as some times it may be profit or even loss to you, and its also an risky way to earn if you don't hold knowledge of it.
I have to agree because there is never any way to be able to tell which way the market is going to go.  If you are looking at gold or silver, you can watch the markets and the governments around the world and make an educated guess as to which way the market will go for the day.  The issue with bitcoin and alt-coins is that there is no base method of doing this.  You can not say, there is a change of power in IBM today, so the stock will go down, sell, sell, sell!!  There is nothign like that I am aware of yet when it comes to bitcoin and other alt-coins.

Sig Campaigns pay a decent we earner for the work, like i only make a few pounds per week but the way i see it some day if bitcoin goes to the moon then this work will have been worth it.  and i like posting on the forum anyway, it something that i would have been doing anyway.

Most of the users on this forum are earning from signature campaign as its very safe and there is no risk associated with and you get paid on regular basis with fixed payouts.

Having a steady income can take on multiple forms, however I would personally just recommend having a signature campaign going for you plus doing whatever freelance jobs you'd be able to do as a means of additional income on top of the "steady" income. Chances are any freelance contracts you do are going to offer more money per hour than whatever you'd get from your signature campaign, so taking time off of your campaign to do a project would probably net you more overall, yet you'd always have the market to fall back on.

Trading won't be a steady indeed, been doing it for months i even end up losing. If the market don't move much, you'll have to act your own to create your own opportunity and that when a trader mess things up. market not moving is very common for crypto.

What you need is a business sustainable enough to have market to sell your product will be the best option.
I agree, trading will be hard to making profit as constanly. We need much time for learn about analysis tecnical, management of margin and risk, rules of entry and exit market. And we must be discipline following our rules of trading.

Gambling is very risky and dangerous. I think gambling isn't a safe way to earn bitcoin. So,I voted foor bitcoin trading because  I thought it's safe then others.  with some skills and strategy anyone can succeed by bitcoin trading.

Trading is risky too but safer in compare to gambling, but even with trading you cannot expect stable income as you may also go through loss sometimes.
that's right but the percentage of risk in trading just a little like if you are lost your amount because the price is down and not reached your target you just losing your amount maybe just some percentage of your amount. but a lot of my friend is become a professional traders and a rich people in this time.

I wouldn't recommend doing signature campaigns if you're still a newbie because of obvious reasons. But actually, there is a campaign that accepts newbies. But given that Lutpin is the one managing it, you sure have to expect a good quality post before you can join in. Look up 777coin or Bitvest, both of those signature campaigns accept Newbies. You might wanna check the table in this thread for the latest updates about signature campaigns.

Correct, there are signature campaigns  which  accepts newbie  rank but expect  that you would  have a hard time to join since lutpin is the  campaign manager which  hes a little bit strict about  your post quality maybe if you have a good post quality  when your still a newbie  then maybe he could accept you. Just go to the link that have  been given by others.
