How make this programm work with GUIminer ? And somebody know wath is "-g yes -v -a 15" ?

I am still some much time out of my nootbooks in meetings. Ah, and other question Can I run  Stealth Runner in smarthphones ?

Thx   Smiley

Hi. It was only for command line apps. It would launch command line apps in hidden mode, and only run when the PC is idle.

Ignore this now, many anti-viruses think it is a virus, and to be honest. I created it to instal on PC's stealthly.

On windows you can schedule programs to be started when idle and stopped when not idle, without needing any additional software. What is the point of this?

It's also hidden.

I wrote it in VB6 long time back. It's now detected as a virus since people started to bundle it with malicious software. Thus making my whole email domain black listed. You can ignore this now.

Thanks for providing a download again :-) , is the problem of launching multiple times the miner corrected ?

anyone have any experience, does this work and not do anything fishy?  I would love to put it on a couple computers but don't want to hinder any users when they're busy.

I've used it on over 100 different computers and it works beautifully. I found that the stealth runner would open up an infinite number of minerd programs every time you would use the mouse and then go inactive. However, I moved it's location to the C:\ drive and it fixed that issue for some reason. Not too sure what the specific issue was with that. Anyways you just add stealth to startup items and set your mouse inactivity time. I have mine at 5 seconds. Works great and people never realize it's on there.

Would be easier to just replace the screensaver with something that will launch both the miner and the screensaver, or even just simply set a scheduled task in the Control Panel.

Any plan to update it with GPU support and limit the amount of power to use with CPU? Thanks.

I haven't downloaded it so I haven't seen yet...  but this would be nice to set up for friends that you want to get involved in bitcoin, just have it so when their system starts up everything goes into the background and starts mining into their account.  Then they wouldn't even have to worry about turning it on and off..  always looking for newb friendly apps.  Too bad gpus are dieing.

For line three of settings, amount of time after computer is active? Or something else. Didn't really get it. Using program though.

Line 1 - The command line to run
Line 2 - Amount of seconds to wait after the computer is idle to run the command
Line 3 - The amount of program runs untill the program is active.

I have been using the stealth runner and it has been working great except for one issue. I have the timer set so the the miner runs 3 seconds after inactive use. However, if you move the mouse again, then let it sit for another 3 seconds stealth will open up another instance of the miner program. This continues infinitately!! Any ideas on how to keep it so stealth will only open one instance of minerd no matter how many times the computer becomes inactive for 3 seconds???

anyone using this?

I have them setup on threee comps. My kid's, my wife's non work comp and MY personal desktop at a business location. The biz one I simply made a shortcut and dragged that into the startup folder for my user acct. On the other two it is loading from registry startup for all users on one and one individual user on the other. Works great on all three. They are all presently disabled due to high cpu overhead, though.

I thought it was an excellent example of simlicity and functionality over some other methods. Normally I'd just VBS my own for something like that but yours was less clunky than that even. And I don't have to worry about my antivire or virewall decided it doens't trust the vbs at some point. I would like to see no miner included and allow the end user to use one of their choosing since bitcoin-miner is now flagged by default in a few antivir apps.

Ah good to here. I was thinking about adding an extra function to limit its CPU power. But might be a bit of work with VB6. I will remove the miner in the download.
