I prefer reddit, not because I don't like Steem, but I have been on it for years so I don't see a reason to switch. 
I think reddit is more popular than steem. personally i have never used steem. so obviously my vote is for reddit. it is realy simple to use. Its just an opinion you may differ.
Reddit surely is more popular. It's sufficient to take a look at their stats to see that. But the thing is that they are also pretty different. Reddit is so much about discovering the content that's been already published somewhere else, not necessarily OP.

Reddit. I love the Android app. Reddit is fun. It just makes it better.
Never used Steem.
