I understand Poloniex!

According to coinmarket, there are only 10,354,966,276 XLM in circulation.
And stellar distributes 16billions xlm !! They are burning all xlm owners, they are burning us!

No, you don't understand. Even if poloniex won't claim those xlm's the supply is still going to be 26 billions. And you think as if poloniex cares on stellar holders thru their action. Poloniex is in a bad situation here. No stellar distribution means pissed clients like me.

Hey, if someone included my name on a list that I didn't approve of then sent me millions of dollars I'd play dumb too haha.

What list? Oh thisss money?  Roll Eyes

Just goes to show exactly how "professional" the people we are dealing with actually are.

Poloniex should fix this.

I do not care they had no agreement. They had a very decent balance of btc during the airdrop. Not claiming that would piss all the polo bitcoin holders (like me, with ca 20btc at airdrop snapshot)

I want my money!

Hi guys,

I should have qualified for the airdrop of Stellar Lumens.

Any idea when they will distribute that?
https://www.stellar.org/lumens/bitcoin-lumen-program/

Are you talking about that?
Where can you claim it with kraken?

Poloniex says, they have no clue!!!

Quote
1/2 - It is not clear to us why Stellar included our name on their site as participants in the 6/27 giveaway.
2/2 - This was done without our consent. We did not agree to participate nor do we possess the STR for this giveaway.

WHAT A MESS!

Their name was indeed on the Stellar distribution site. But they did not tell me (=their customer) that they will not participate!!!

That's interesting, because when Clams allowed people to "dig" clams from their bitcoin addresses, Poloniex distributed it all. That was a few years ago, though.

I am hearing about these type of air drops for a very long time, actually why are they doing it and what incentives does the team gets for giving out free coins for all the bitcoin holders,i have no clue why is that and basically all the miners will be having a good share when these sort of air drop happens because they are the ones holding more coins.Either way thanks for this thread,i will try to claim my share on August 27.

I doubt you will get any lumens from the poloniex, they are really too busy with their users' issues and tickets.

Check their blog post to stay up to date with the latest news about which exchange is going to give the lumens to they users.

They are giving away around 974 xlm per bitcoin, not bad since it is something free.

Anyone aware how many stellars can 1 BTC holder claim?

Quote
At time of snapshot
16,416,025  bitcoins in existence
Rachel owns 10 bitcoins

Rachel can claim
16,000,000,000 * (10/16,416,020) = 9,746.57 lumens

Calculation
Rachel owns .00006167% of the bitcoins in existence at the time of the snapshot.
Her 9,746.57 lumens therefore equals .00006167% of lumens given away.

Here i will compute it for you.

16,000,000,000 * (1/16,416,020) = 974.66 lumes

that's what you get when you have 1 BTC in your wallet.

Same here, I transferred all my BTC to poloniex for ease of receiving stellar. But who knows, poloniex tweet about they are not aware of this arrangement after the snapshot date.

Anyone aware how many stellars can 1 BTC holder claim?

LOL
It's shame. How no one in poloniex's team neither in stellar team can't say they are no agreement between them.
As many users, I Collected all my btc on an single account...on poloniex.
For nothing maybe.
It was my first airdrop...ridiculous Smiley
