I wouldnt rely solely on the fact that it is a top 10 coin when I assess coins. Which coins are in the top 10 changes rapidly, take a look at the top 10 at the beginning of the year eg., some of the coins now werent even released!

I would not suggest to buy stellar at the moment. It is it's in high period. It was the news from coinbase that started this rally but it wouldn't continue indefinitely so it would be wise to wait for the dump and buy it as it's a good coin for long term.
