That's right, investing in any coin when ATH has already occurred is a very wrong choice, because if you can get it at a lower price when the decline occurs, why buy at the ATH price where it just takes patience to wait, I agree with what you say this.

How do you guys mean here. At any point, a coin already has an ATH. So what you mean by not buying. Example with doge at $0.02 sometime ago was its ATH and Elon musk hyped the coin and it started growing to beat previous ATH and got another ATH ,kept taking out old ATH until it got to the current ATH. Again with other coins and bitcoin too before current ATH was previously at $63k but went above that to $67k , that is difference of $4k and that's some money that was made by some investors. Grin

We know that meme tokens is just a hype and may soon die down when people find another hype to watch.
It is hard to hold a token that has no use case and the future is dictated by the shilling of the community.
I guess, a lot will get burned from touching the meme tokens hype. Better cash out while you are still in positive side.

Depends on the fundamentals of the coin/token.

If it's SHIB then I would just give up on the position because I don't believe in the hype lasting for much longer.

But if it is something else, like ETH which has long term viability then definitely. I would keep holding it.

You should bought this token knowing its risk since after making its new ATH you can expect to see corrections and that is happening now. Wait for another year for the bull trend and I can say that SHIB is still a good one and it can rise again with a good hype. The price might not be able to recover before the year end but for sure, next year will be a great one for SHIB.

Just wait until the price goes up again if you have bought a Shiba Inu. You don't have to wait another year, but you have to wait until the target to profit from the Shiba Inu is reached. It could be less than a year and it could be more than a year.

If you trust the coin then there is no need to hesitate your plan and besides you have already purchased the coins then keep it.
but if you are just here to Earn and Go then you missed the chance because SHIB seemingly starting to fade away like what happen in Dogecoin couple of months ago, meaning the pump had passed and now the strong hands strategy stards.

Maybe the hype still didn't die last month after all there is a good plan for Shib. I have not invested in Shib but what I heard of that someone who bought $3000 Shib from the beginning was that he earned up to a billion because of it. That's really a big reward for being so early of it. If I just knew Shib is this huge since its inception I would have bought as well. I'd be satisfied already with just $1M Grin

$1200 last week could have profited already if you have timely bought at the dippest price.

Actually, I would rather you didn't invest in shit coins and meme coins for the long-term. They are good for short-term trading so you had better sell them if they increase the other day. It is better to invest in mainstream currencies with real projects under them for the period of one year or more as meme coins rises just because of hype that can't last very long.
