Obviously that it can reach those prices, but it is not going to happen anytime soon. So the best thing to know, is that if it ever happens, it is going to take some time until we all see that happening.

Yes it can hit $20k dollar because every people are interested on cryptocurrency as long as it was legalize on their country so we can always hope for the price to reach $20k dollar at the end of the year just the same as ethereum coins that reach $1k dollar just in a few months ago.

Yes I agree. If not this year, Bitcoin will hit 20K$ price maybe next year, we don't know when. As we track its price, it is always fluctuating and that means, there's still a chance of growing. For now, let us make or take the opportunity to buy and invest. For me, I didnt lost hope that btc price will go bullish this year. Just be patient and think always on the positive side, as positive thinking always brings positive things.

we do not know if it would not hit $ 20k this year, because it has recently been published by analysts on bitcoin value with a high bitcoin price rise to continue until the end of 2018 and it's good news is sure to be fulfilled.

Are there really people who "get" bitcoin that think it won't be $20k again? $20k was a stepping stone. Just like $1k wasn't the end in 2013 its pretty ridiculous to think $20k is the end. $20k was literally just scratching the surface of adoption. In like two years after the next crash the BOTTOM of the market will probably be like $30k.

You can now easily buy Bitcoin through Robinhood and Square Cash apps, whereas before essentially the only easy way to buy was Coinbase. Many services in the industry are now building and launching services aimed at providing bitcoin to institutional investors. Lightning Network is now on mainnet with a couple thousand users and growing, with LN making important advancements in its development. Segwit is gaining greater adoption after stalling at 10% for months. Batching is being introduced to major exchanges and online services. Institutional firms are now actually making plans to get in on bitcoin in the near future. More and more exchanges are opening. Even nasdaq is talking about adding crypto to their exchange! Governments that did some banning in light of the ICO craze last year seem to be starting to come back to maybe having smart regulations instead of banning things. Some federal chairmen or whatever in the US have started saying that crypto and bitcoin will one day be a normal part of global finance and will revolutionize global finance.

The next boom is going to be FAR larger than the last boom, as has always been the case with Bitcoin. Bitcoin's market cap will definitely be over a trillion dollars in 2019 or 2020.

Surely everyone is very confident about the future of Bitcoin, there are still plenty of opportunities to reap success in cryptocurrency, and most people are in this forum looking to get Bitcoin, with many new coins not a threat to top coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, to get an additional profit in order to buy more Bitcoin with the new coin, always optimistic in doing something all the coins that have the potential to be better in the future, the patience is what must be emphasized at this time.

There are a lot of people today in the market who does not believe on bitcoins before like it will reach the price of $20k dollar but as soon as the month reached december then it started to pumps up as well and that is the time where everyone become very attracted to cryptocurrency.

Why not, bitcoin can achieve it. Bitcoin is still falling and many people are asking about bitcoin survival in the future, and can not deny that the fall of bitcoin can make anyone panic. But bitcoin will grow and will reach 20k.

Although we are currently far behind from that target, but still i am sure that possibalities are always there, and very soon we will see the bitcoin price increasing too much, and hope that very soon bitcoin price will reach to 20k and will even continue increasing its price and hopefully will even reach to 50k.

Don't trust the fake news about bitcoin.I f you get any news,just cross verify the news.Due to fake news,the price of bitcoin is often fluctuate.This will be the better move to buy some bitcoin.Still I think the price of bitcoin will increase above the 20,000$.

If by soon you mean a year or two then I agree with you. That could happen but it's very debatable.

Bitcoin will soon hit 20k dollar as its current increase in value constantly is the sign for us and we should be optimistic and should not think down as the source has seen a lot of jumps and downs and will recover this time as well like recovered many times before. The 20k dollar is nothing if we compare with the strength of Bitcoin, the Bitcoin will soon payoff if you invest now and wait for the price time jump again.

Bitcoin at this moment is struggling like anything, but it will rebound, but its clearly not sure whether it will rebound over $12k-$15k or cross its lifetime high. People are just in fear, and unless whales perform their magic, its really tough for us normal people to make it retouch $20K again.

Lol, It's a common problem, bitcoin prices definitely reach a price of 20k even more. It just takes patience while doing the speculation to forget the time when waiting for that time to come.

From current levels to $60,000 before the end of this year isn't exactly what I consider to be gradual, lol. You completely ignore everything that happened last year, which isn't something we can easily replicate in any of the upcoming years. Don't forget that the larger the market grows, the more it will take to book the same growth rates, and for that we need far more money than what entered last year. Without anything extremely bullish there isn't much to hope for this year, but I don't even think we constantly need bull runs to increase. We need to relax and allow the market to increase in a healthy way. All this bull run talk isn't good for anything.

Yep. It will and it should, since last year and prior to that year also people were expecting Bitcoin may be reached around x2 price rise but unexpectedly Bitcoin rise was x10 times. Just like last year Bitcoin price will trend in this price range and gradually it will rise to $60k within this year end I believe and this is the experts opinion as well.

Thats the problem. Time. The newbies dont have patience. They want 20k now.
