I disagree with most of these posts; I think you would be better off holding your cash till after Christmas. Most people also believed BTC would hit six figures this year & it didn't even come close. A correction as low as $8000 would not be unusual according to the long scope of Bitcoin's history. I don't think it's going quite that low, but I do think that this relentless "It's going to the moon if we all just have a positive attitude," mentality is going to cost a lot of people who don't want to live in reality a loooot of money.

Before doing so, it is a good idea to first learn what is needed and what is necessary to know in general and seek the best information about bitcoin in the future, because it is very important to consider whether now is the right time or not.
although it seems like now is the right time to make a purchase but you have to do a detailed analysis and investigation to find the purchase at the right time and believe that bitcoin will give good returns in the future and my advice is to invest for the long term, because it is an option best and will be more profitable.

man you have to have a goal when you are going to invest in anything, putting things that way makes it easier for you to decide what would be the best time to invest in bitcoin.

for example:

let's imagine that your object is to make a 50% profit in just 12 months, so you in that case would need to buy bitcoin if it drops for example to something like $37000 or lower so you can sell when it increases too much.

I'm just giving an example to facilitate the answer to your question.

I want to invest something for $20000, still worth?
^ If you understand BTC then you are good to go to invest but if not, I suggest having a study first before you will proceed to invest in BTC.
Still worth it on my side if you really want to invest in a long-term purpose, just invest and hold until you will see your profit was there but if you cant do this, the BTC investment is not meant for you. Because it requires patient until you will have profit at the end. We are now in a correction at the moment and anytime soon BTC price will increase.

Of course especially bitcoin got a dumped today, i think still worth to buy with half of your money. I mean there will be 2 condition, price back to higher or keep dumped. If higher you can take profit, if lower then you can use the rest of capital to wait for a good price to buy again.

Of course, it's worth it. You are lucky to have $20k to invest right now.
You should hurry to buy this time because it had dipped at least below $50K, it might recover faster than you think. Nayib Bukele once again had bought the dip just today. That guy is really thinking big like Michael Saylor. DCA is always effective in BTC investment. Holding just your fraction of BTC is still the most effective in making more money.  Not investing today, will only make you regret seeing the price move up already after just a week.

This is another sweet time to invest but I would rather advice you split your capital into two. Invest half with the current price then wait to see if the market would fall further so you can buy more which would give you a double entry point so you don't lose out on any point in the market. With $2000 you should be taking good advantage of the market dip

Why not ? while the market conditions are bearish this is the right time to take profit in the short term. for the long term it is still worth it because Bitcoin is the safest investment that guarantees 100% money back with a high risk and high return mechanism. everything just takes time to get profit

I want to invest something for $20000, still worth?
Best time to invest was 10 years ago the next best time is today. I feel the pandemic forced a transition to tech and crypto. With all the turbulence in 2021 , it will continue to rise. The potential downfall of the value of the dollar is adding to it. Also, it’s decentralized; no government involvement. Even if they wanted to shut it down, the have not way.

I want to invest something for $20000, still worth?

It's your opportunity now to buy while bitcoin is below $50k before it will bounce back. Investing is risky but it is profitable. Still, it's up to you if you want to invest and take the risk because that is your money and of course your responsibility not to lose. But remember you will not earn if you do not invest. Now, what is your purpose why do you want to invest? If your answer is to earn, then you should take all the risk.

Yes of course it's still worth it today if you want to invest in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still victorious and I think it will continue to be better in the future with new innovations. So it's never too late for you to start investing in Bitcoin, but if you can now why not. Moreover, you already have capital, it's a shame if it's just unemployed. Starting an investment also doesn't have to be big capital, if you only have a little capital it doesn't matter. However, the profit obtained will not be too large, I think this is not a problem at least you will still get a profit and set it aside for additional capital so that in the future your capital will increase.

Your money, your responsibility, your risk.

Only you can answer whether it’s still worth investing on Bitcoin or not. Let me give you a scenario.

A guy is asking, “Is it the best time to buy Bitcoin?”. But he never took action.

Today it’s consolidating around $46k+ to $47k+.

What if tomorrow, BTC slighty pumped to $48k, for sure this guy is going to ask the same question and never take action.
What if on Monday, BTC pumped above $50k, this guy is gonna ask again the same question and still not taking action.

The thing is no one can answer it for you. Yes, BTC is a long term cryptocurrency hands-down, but the question that you’re asking that is it’s still worth buying BTC or not, there’s no accurate answer. Only you can answer that question.

Whatever advice you get from the experienced, only you who can really answer that question and take action coz’ it’s your money. You just prepare for something unexpecting like a sudden crash, etc.

Only invest and trade an amount that you can afford to lose and do not go all-in.

I want to invest something for $20000, still worth?
yes definitely, but make sure to buy at the real support level if you don't want to lose money from the correction because at this moment as you can see it's bearish season so there's a chance bitcoin will make more correction..  So must wait for the right time. Actually there's a buch of big investors that already buy at the current dip but probably it doesn't matter since they had large amount of money and for sure the correction cannot hurt them. I hope you know what i mean.  Cheesy so be patient mate don't be hasty there's a right time just tune in to don't miss the opportunity to buy at the real support level.

I want to invest something for $20000, still worth?

1. It's you who has to decide for yourself.
2. You're asking on a bitcoin forum.. so what answer you think you'll get from many? I'll tell you: #BTFD = Buy the ... dip!
3. It depends whether you afford to lose that money - it may take one day or a lifetime to get on profit, it depends on how your hearth can manage the sudden price fluctuations - big and in any direction.

I want to invest something for $20000, still worth?

If you ask such a question on a forum called bitcointalk, don't expect to get a negative answer to your question - most people here are mostly positive when it comes to such an investment.

Questions I would ask myself before such an investment :

  • Do I even understand what Bitcoin is?
  • Do I know how to store it properly?
  • Am I investing in the short or long term?
  • Is that money I can afford to lose?

If you answer those questions, you might get an answer to your question, and after all, it's about your money.

But always remember that there are risk involved, so bare that in mind, your $20000 might be worth $200,000 down the line or become $20 so the decision is still yours. Although looking at bitcoin's price history, chances are, you are going to make a huge profit specially if you are going to hold on it for years and not spend it.
When you put it like that, who in his right mind would want to invest and see his investment plummet down to $20? But I understand what you are saying. The second part of your post is the main point.

@lisay78
If you open any historic price trackers for Bitcoin and look up what the coin was worth throughout the years, you will notice that almost every year ended with a plus. If you invested a certain amount at the start of the year, your investment would be worth more (dollar-wise) at the end of the year. I think only two years are negative in that regard.

I think this is the best time to invest because the price is quite cheap again.

But always remember that there are risk involved, so bare that in mind, your $20000 might be worth $200,000 down the line or become $20 so the decision is still yours. Although looking at bitcoin's price history, chances are, you are going to make a huge profit specially if you are going to hold on it for years and not spend it. So in any case, best of luck in your decision.

Usually a sharp correction like this indicates that there will be high support from all investors in the next two weeks, the market price may break the previous Ath high of $68k. Conditions like today are the moment that trading circles have been waiting for when the correction peaks and when bitcoin is fully refueled it will fly to the moon in the last week of December 2021.

If you can afford to risk the money and understand the market is volatile, it's definitely still worth buying. The dip that happened this evening is actually a great buying opportunity if you believe in cryptocurrency. Just remember, don't put in more than you're willing to use and be ready to ride the waves. People say crypto is extremely volatile for a reason. If you can handle it, $20k in BTC right now could certainly reap some nice profits once it starts going back up!
