Yes, I wanted this publicly documented partially to help flux establish himself here, and partially to give me a place to document this appropriately. We actually are in a discussion to work together on a project in the future, so I don't anticipate this being anything beyond a one-time loan. You can see by my trust history and post history that I am not in the loan business - this is the only loan I have ever issued.

we've met somewhere else and worked out the details privately, this post is so we can document it and also start increasing my credibility around btctalk, as I may have future plans for posting alot of projects here. This is the beginning
If you know each other outside of the forums then it might be different. IMO the best way to increase your credibility is to be active in the community and to participate constructively (along with some trading). I don't think it is advisable to take out loans for the sole purpose of increasing your trust, as that is very much frowned upon here
