Call your grandparents and tell them you love them
stocks and cryptos do sound better, on the other hand with different levels of risk due to different volatility then this will be a good asset diversification. but it's better to ask and study both of them until we finally understand and decide which investment is right for us, or even choose both
One who is veteran in stocks can and should try to diversify into crypto too. With changing times people need to change too, just that it becomes difficult for the older generations to cope up, which is understandable.

But blindly one must not try to go into both at the same time. For users new to crypto, learn the pros and cons of crypto too and compare with stock market. Such info can be found on the internet. Doing so one can make an informed decision as to which mode of speculative trading is good for them and safe too. High risks does not always mean that they are legal in your country so keep that in mind.

Cryptocurrency is the most versatile and open Asset of all time,  everybody is part of the board team and everyone can take decision for the future of their asset.
There is no "board team" - you dont know what decentralization is?

Stock market is shrouded in secrecy and you can even be diluted  without your knowledge!
Companies running for long having their stocks are usually doing annual reports and so. So called "secrecy" is more of a "Sour grapes" misguidance. It all depends on how you see it.

Quote
Cryptocurrency is way more advanced than stock!
What do you mean by "Advanced" and in what context? Both are speculative assets classes.

However, cryptocurrency market is more reactive so we can make profits in short time frame compared to the traditional stock market investment now the choice is yours.

Actually we also able to earn a quick income in stock market but it's like the future market, we guess where the chart is going up or down.
This is similiar to binance future or other future market, with the same risk. And in my opinion the chart movement from stock market is more make sense and able to analyze with technical skills.

Hail Eris!
Crypto is so much more that only a small subset of its use cases can be compared with stocks (and now you can even have stocks in crypto). Tongue  With respect to those I guess the essential difference is that of trusted versus trustless systems... but I feel that is not what the OP is asking about.

And hell yeah you can focus on both!  Even if you are only trading one why not let your data mining process use signals from the other...

Why we have to keep our path very narrow, instead of stock or crypto why not stock and crypto?

Both are different in few aspects like volatility and regulation but the basic thing is same more the demand the value will increase so when we are capable of managing and finding the right assets at the right time we can make profits.

However, cryptocurrency market is more reactive so we can make profits in short time frame compared to the traditional stock market investment now the choice is yours.
Simple, most people do not have the money to invest in both markets and they are forced to make a choice, do they pick the stock market or the market of cryptocurrencies? And since this is a forum dedicated to bitcoin then it is obvious its participants are going to have a strong preference for this market, besides the stock market has many barriers to entry that do not exist in this market, and when we add the potential profits you can obtain then it makes sense that people are choosing this market over the stock market.

The biggest difference is the ownership, seriously. Most of the time when you buy a stock, you do not actually buy the stock, you buy the digital footprint of it, which means you do not actually own it, but you are told that you own it, and you could move as you wish with it, banks and other parties own it for real, you are only show the profits and losses that come with owning one.

In crypto I can do whatever I want and it is my own doing, I do not have to do anything else, I am capable of actually following whatever I own and I can trade it and swap it and that is the great feeling about crypto that everyone keeps forgetting about.

This is false. You actually do own the stock. However most people rather keep the stock digitally on an exchange rather than keep the certificates somewhere in their house or a security box. Whenever you own some shares, you can contact the brokerage and for a large fee they can send you a physical certificate of the shares you own. However what are you going to do with that then? Keep it in your house and what if there is a fire.

The stocks that you might not actually own are more like options, futures, ETFs which all got fees and decays and are not great for holding long term.

Here you need to understand what the trader wants to get in the end, and what his general abilities are in trading. This plays a big role when choosing an asset for investment.
Still, the skill set you required to win in either crypto or stock market will not be different. So, your general abilities may not be having big role on choosing either one here. Every trader wants to make money from trading but they are choosing either stocks or crypto based on their own preferences and exposures. After getting into crypto space, I'm not into stock trading anymore because I'm comfortable with crypto trading and investment then why should I go back.

Why we have to keep our path very narrow, instead of stock or crypto why not stock and crypto?
I don't think that will be that easier unlike how it is sounding; because you cannot manage trading both crypto and stock markets simultaneously. If you're getting signals from some other resource of then you can go for it but if you are generating signals by your own through technical analysis then you cannot focus on both.

I've got a friend who asked me about bitcoin years ago and I don't know what's his stance right now towards bitcoin. I've looked to the possible potential profit in investing in stocks.

And if I just did chose that, I guess I won't be sitting in profits as high as I can see right now for having bitcoin than owning those stocks.
My friend encourage me to switch from stocks to crypto and I’m so thankful that he introduce me in crypto market because this offers me a great opportunity to earn more thought this is more risky but if you do trade correctly, its more rewarding.

Stocks and crypto offers a different opportunity, i still have my stock account and still using it since I believe in diversification and stocks are also good for long term investments.
Good friends do exist and will encourage you to take risk that you can bear.

The good thing is that I've believed to bitcoin and stocks is good and I have nothing to say about it. I respect the stock investors and those that don't want to take risk in crypto.

I've met those that has a bad stance about crypto because it's quite new to them and they can't believe the high profit that we've taken from it so that's why they're butt hurt and bitter.

This is an interesting point, unless you actually have the stocks in your hands most of the time you do not truly own the stock you are supposedly buying, and while it is true that in the market of cryptocurrencies you cannot touch your coins with your hands you at least know you have true ownership of your coins and you can get them out of the exchange whenever you want, and you can do more than just trade them but you can actually use them to buy stuff that you need, something that is not possible to do with a stock.

Also my friend did encourage me to know crypto which it did really poke out my interest on dealing with this market and seeing that the possible income or profit you could get then this is the primary

thing that I do look for but of course im aware with the risk involved and its just normal that you would commit out mistakes when you are still newbie.

Im a long  time forex/stocks trader which I could say that even with less volatileness of the market but still it is way too unpredictable.

The cryptocurrency market differs from traditional markets in many ways –  from ownership to regulation, fees, and volatility. The whole industry still has enormous potential for growth, as payment giants like PayPal, MasterCard, Visa and more are joining the cryptocurrency space. It offers a great opportunity to increase diversity in our portfolio.

Let's choose who's more profitable and stable, Crypto or Stocks. Let's decided
Cryptocurrency works for me, so everyone should choose what works for them. That it is working out for me in this way doesn’t mean that it is also going to work for others, because as good as I believe cryptocurrency is, I have still met people who feel that cryptocurrency is the worst investment that they have ever made in their life.  Like you said, they all have their own unique ways that they are different. There is too much risk in cryptocurrency because of how volatile it is, although that doesn’t mean that others doesn’t fluctuate, they also do, but not as much as cryptocurrency does.

crypto is very transparent and decentralized. anyone can see and anyone can't delete it, everything can be tracked easily.
and For stocks it will not have a report like crypto. Crypto is available 24 hours and there is no time off, while stocks have time off and of course the market will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays. open monday - friday.

I've never traded stocks until now, I'm more comfortable in crypto and more profit I get.

With crypto, with public ledgers, you can check coin distributions and discover whales on the network. You can observe their coin movements, any time you have connection to Internet.

With stocks, you can not do this. You have to rely on reports that can be true or untrue and those reports are not released on time.

The beauty of crypto is you can verify things you read or hear by yourself.

Fundamentally cryptocurrency market is NOT same as stock market but if you want to day trade then you can go for either one along with your same level of skills. I mean you do not need to go for any special training when you plan to switch over from one market to another.

It offers a great opportunity to increase diversity in our portfolio.
Yeah, cryptocurrencies are offering new opportunities for both traders and investors to diversify their risks. If you are new to crypto space then it is highly recommended to go for long term crypto investments with at least 10% of your total capital. For active trading of cryptos, I recommend only less than 2% of your capital.

Bitcoin or Stocks can both be profitable, depending on how you use them. Bitcoin or crypto is currently hype and many stock players are also moving to crypto. The real potential advantage is not only investing in stocks, but cryptocurrencies also have more opportunities. The risk of cryptocurrencies is quite large because of high volatility with price fluctuations that are crazier than stocks.
Cryptocurrencies are more popular because currently the price of Bitcoin is increasing until it reaches a new ATH at a price of $65k and this of course will continue.
