The users' funds are untouched in the accounts throughout the verification procedure.
Isn't the way centralized wallets work by sweeping all user deposits every once in a while into a wallet under the company's control? So your reason doesn't make sense, because in fact you never accept the user's verification until they give up.

Typically, it takes a couple of days after providing all the requested details.
Maybe it will be years over time. As for your ToS, it's actually useless, freewallet (by default) is  in randomly-stealconfiscate mode without looking at the violation.

I can’t believe that they’re still trading, absolute rogues. They really do need shutting down!
Totally, people that's not familiar with the issues and scandals that the FreeWallet is on is going to be falling prey to their schemes and I hope that they'll shutdown soon because nothing positive is coming out from this organization and the people involved with them. I hope that more than being shutdown, their syndicate should also be reported to the appropriate authorities and bring them to justice and if I push my hopefulness, the stolen funds to be returned to the people that got their bitcoins and other crypto scammed by this vile entity.

Hello,
Did you encounter any issues with our app?
Does anyone need to risk their funds using your wallet before they know what kind of wallet you are?

In fact, someone in his right mind who's security conscious will even think of making use of a custodial wallet, where someone who doesn't know how I suffer to make my money will have to decide when I will spend the money and whether the money is mine or not.

They will still choose to make use of such a service, unless they don't know the true differences between a custodial and noncustodial wallet.

Any wallet that asks for KYC verification is not fit to be used at all, and what's most fucked up is that this said wallet is hardware, where most people might think they are protected when the reverse is the case.

Hello, so sorry you have this impression about our service.
The users' funds are untouched in the accounts throughout the verification procedure. We would like to highlight that we never intend to take advantage of our users' funds. As for the case resolution speed, it depends on the users' cooperation. Typically, it takes a couple of days after providing all the requested details.

The impression many forum users have of your service is well-earned. As a wallet, you have no right to block peoples' access from their funds. Imagine I buy a real, old-fashioned wallet, put some dollar bills in there, and then the wallet asks me to prove I'm me before I'm allowed to spend the dollars! It's an utterly ridiculous concept that you should be able with-hold funds from people unfortunate enough to make the mistake of downloading your "wallet".

What the hell man, 5.9 BTC? I wish you the best. I'm going to continue reading this thread. Hopefully you're able to get your money back.

Edit looks like this was from 2020, Hopefully he got his money back.

Yes, I am also wondered if I see big amounts that were blocked. But actually some people really store big amounts in crypto.
Elon Musk, the current world's richest man, was also one of their victims, then how about a common user like you or me  Grin
Imagine how much crypto worth he had in there. Check out this Thread - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5316100

Yeah FreeWallet is literally full of shit. They ONLY responded to Elon Musk and resolved the issue so quickly because it was ELON. If those funds belonged to the average person they would've all been fucked over by FreeWallet's garbage service. It is honestly surprising how that account hasn't been banned yet for scamming millions of dollars from innocent people like OP who've used their garbage website..

Even bigger wallets and exchanges that require KYC verification like Coinbase do not have these many accusations. Can't you just get it?
The scam accusations all over the internet are a sign that you people are just after seizing customer funds and not really safeguarding it. I know of platforms where if one does not agree to carry out KYC verification, they will return your funds to the owner, not just locking it up and keep demanding for documents.

If you are serious about KYC verification or AML, then why don't do demand for it before a customer deposits funds to your wallet? Why do you first trap them to deposits money, and then you start asking for the documents?

Answers on forums and review sites make it seem like support cares about customers. A very convenient way to hide the real nature of the project

Hello,
Did you encounter any issues with our app?

To be honest with you, I would never consider using your app. This is due to the countless horror stories I've heard over the years from your users. It must be a very profitable business model for you to just seize any user's coins you see fit, and then only sometimes release them after the victim has complained very publicly and loudly about the theft.

For people looking for a good multi-coin wallet, I would gladly recommend Trust Wallet for mobile devices and Exodus for desktop. I know there's others but in all my years in crypto I've never had a problem with either one of those.

What a joke. How their website has not been taken down yet by their host is beyond me.

Someone at the top must have directly received some feedback from people quoting any of the many, many scam reports against them that have amassed here over the years. Freewallet.org is truly one of the worst & hardest-to-remove stains on crypto.

Hello, the safety of customers' funds is our top priority.

You're on -14 negative trust with an active scammer tag, and many accusations against you on this board, and you still write that safety of your customers' funds is your top priority?

Hi, unfortunately, people are quick to proclaim this or that service a scam when something goes differently from what they expected.

You can also see that most of these issues were resolved.
Why most of your costumers commonly end up like this?

Selectively scamming people and trap them through KYC verification upon withdrawal?

That's a big shame for your company.

Hello, the safety of customers' funds is our top priority. Therefore, some of our users pass the verification procedure to prevent hacking attempts and require complying with international laws, including those that combat money laundering and other illegal financial activities. Throughout the verification procedure, users' funds remain untouched in complete safety on their accounts.

The time duration varies from case to case. Some might take a couple of days to finish the procedure, and some might take much longer. This thread's author case was resolved in just over two weeks' time.

If you need any assistance with our app, please let us know. We'll be happy to help.

Nothing new on this forum. Am I the only one who had no problems with the Freewallet services?

I saw your post history. And I'm glad to announce that you are another freewallet's shiller account. You will not benefit from this fake review. First Solve all the scam reports against you. Return customer funds, How long will you scam people like this? There have already been many scam reports against you.

Let me tell you, there's a wallet for EOS called Freewallet. And it's pretty free to both register and use, also the are fee-free for the withdrawals. Check it out: https://freewallet.org/eos-wallet
