Did you have your wallet encrypted?

Yes, i have. But i had so few bitcoin on it, he didn't even took them.

You had 2FA enabled on your exchange accounts right?*

* (Of course not the question was rhetorical for any noob reading every single one of these stories has the same thing in common - no 2FA).

No, but i recently bought a yubikey, i was waiting for it... Too late !

MtGox Support told me that the will collaborate with my local police, in order to retrieve the hacker. I don't have many hope for that, but... Who knows ?

Seriously, everyone should use 2FA and an encrypted wallet.

Any additional information on "2FA" would be appreciated.

Just been hacked
Hi everyone.

I'm here for telling you that stealing bitcoin isn't really hard.
With all those softwares about bitcoin, it has to happen.  I've downloaded a software without really pay attention about, and here the results...

The hacker took control of my computer, shutdown it, and then connect to my account on mtgox and btc-e. He just had to withdraw my btc, ltc, ftc, and all my currencies. In fact, he  had convert them into btc, and Buy btc with my real money. Even if i reacted fast, changing my password of my accounts, it was too late. I lost about 100 ltc,  100 nmc, 100 ftc, and a little less than 6 btc. You can imagine how many euros i lost...

However, btc-e support and mtgox support told me that they couldn't do anything, just giving me the transaction adress.
I lost a lot tonight.

You can easily imagine how i feel right now... Could you please be gentle ? Even just a bit. If you want to be, please send anything you want to, at my New btc adress...1AHCYddMrk4kWvvo5tVMEYVGPG1c7NRaBA

Here are *some* transactions that happened tonight, it's the hacker adress... There is only two transactions... https://blockchain.info/address/1Mn4nHbTztSNoG8xJkZRqWMapb6fPKPWJ

Thanks in advance for your generosity...

Shit happens...
