It seems to be jumping around the world.

OP are you located in Germany? looks like your coins were sent to someone in massachusets and then moved to someone in Poland

this is a very large network, got about 2000.00 were sent to another address along with your money to Poland.

the rest is being moved around as well. It will be interesting seeing the entire movement of this entity, these are very large sums.

Wow, 80000 dollars worth of bitcoins. Where was this java applet miner virus you used?

I remember being linked to a website phishing Mt Gox and it had a video on it with some kind of important announcement and it asked to download a Java applet in order to run the video.

yup I know the one you are talking about, we need to look on the forum see who has been posting links to that site.

I took one look at that Java applets and knew... Chrome rejects outdated or bizarre applets out of hand... never ever click on a java applet that requests you use it... that is already a red flag if it does not start automatically.

The java app was posted on this site - I thought it was legit. so I clicked it and let it run. When nothing happened on the website I thought something was up with my computer. A couple of minutes later my AV popped up. I don't remember the link / site. I'm pretty sure the threads were deleted.

What are the sources? can we see the pattern from where those coins were stolen?

we will need to monitor that address and wait till those coins start moving, follow the bloom of coins once they are spent.

If they land at a business with a known bitcoin address or an exchange we can track them to the perpetrator.

if it helps, my address is 194oEMpUh8TUMvok6fkBMgFT6j57FMAv2G and the coins went to 1Kx1QMEsuKVJwPB7zabeqZbVTP5Zfkgbby

If someone could tell me what to do from that, I'll gladly do it. Don't want to make other people do my work

They all seem to end up at 1DdFKnPX7M23VMLgEedegtVXR9v3wN2ruQ and they aren't moved from there, total balance is 652.32884571

Well damn... Looks like they got a whole lot more people than me.

You need to start following your address, was the wallet stolen? if so do you know your address? if so track those coins to their ultimate destination till the end of time., s

Sooner or later those coins will end up into a known address.

I'm assuming my wallet address was stolen. I can view the transaction out of my wallet into some random address which I did not do.

I'm not a miner, so I don't know for sure.  But, can't you create a paper wallet and then have the bitcoins that you mine sent straight to it?  If so, that's what I would do if I was a miner.  Makes it virtually impossible for your coins to get hacked and even if your computer gets stolen, your coins are safe.

Yeah, this is 100% human error on my end. My computer warned me and I brushed it off. If you don't know what you're running, don't run it... Luckily my AV caught it otherwise I would've probably never known what was happening.

disabling java in chrome now. so will this solve 90% of the problems?

There isn't even any need to disable it, just don't allow it to run Java applets when it asks you.

Unless you're able to track down the person that stole them (which is highly unlikely), they're gone for good.

No need to be an ass, as for OP did you run a Java applet? Were your coins stolen from Mtgox? (your cookies targeted?)

I meant no disrespect to vpitcher. I see you highlighted 'good'... maybe you're not familiar with that idiom? All I meant is that they are likely unrecoverable, because Bitcoin transactions are not reversible.

Either way, I'm sorry to hear that they were stolen. Definitely make sure you've removed the virus and don't send anything else to those addresses.

Read that wrong sorry  Wink

I was not offended by your comment one bit. Thanks for caring guys. Shit happens, at least I hadn't invested some hard earned cash into it yet. All that money was from mining only.
