Hi, just a warning to be on the lookout for either:

Kialara Moon bar set #87 - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wtskialara-moon-bar-set-87-w-error-coin-in-perspex-case-with-freebies-3760675

Note to others using FedEx for shipping international. USE A LOT OF TAPE. LIKE TAPE THE WHOLE THING UP COMPLETELY.

In my case, it now appears the box either got broken open on one corner on a conveyer belt or truck, so may just be lying on the floor in some warehouse in Memphis TN. The tracking shows end-to-end FedEx.

Thank you to all who have reached out to help etc.

Cheers

Hello everyone

Please note that coins listed here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sale-76-left-rc-rainbowvibgyor-colour-series-orange-set-5415734

Coin#121 is missing.

121 silver was sent like the usual. But this Package was opened at customs.

We had sent even more coins to other people e.g. 10 coins in one package, etc.
but never before coins were stolen.

We will keep this post updated with more info.

Please check if someone tries to sell you coin #121. It looks like the Silver coin in the poster  above.

Thank you

Just read this on '[Pre Sales] 1HoDLCUB Fine Gold 999.9 Bitcoin chips': https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5379676.180
Shipping has become a serious problem! Even when parcels are tracked down to their specific locations... in the end no one is resoponsible. Just not funny.

So indeed almost all the Gold Chips arrived at their destination, exactly 30, and unfortunately, following the confirmation of the post office following an international search, the Gold Chips serial 1, 2, 3 were stolen / lost, they never arrived at destination, the tracking no longer had an update after going through customs and arriving at the first sorting centre.

The buyer was fully refunded arrived at 25 days of sending the package, 1 week ago I received written confirmation from the post office that the package is lost/stolen.

First time a package has been stolen/lost and it happened with the Goldies!  Grin

I was planning or releasing my series 2 coins this coming week, but more than half of the mint was stolen in route to the distributor. The distributor is someone I trust, and is not to blame at all in any way. Coins with serial numbers 002-104 and 121-128 were shipped and the two boxes arrived empty and sealed back up. My guess is someone at the usps distribution center heard the sound of coins looked into the package seen the btc logo on the coins and thought he hit the jackpot than stole the contents and sealed them back up. It hurts bad right now, but I will bounce back. If you see these coins on ebay, or wherever they are stolen coins. They are not loaded thankfully but it still sucks. I have 80 or so sets left of series 2 coins I have to put together I still plan on releasing at some point. Anyway if anyone sees them for sale anywhere let me know. I have not sold a single coin to anyone so if you see one its stolen

I will add something too, the USPS seems to be getting less trustworthy overall. Maybe it was just 2020 however I always had great service until 2020.

Two packages were lost, one in the summer and another in the Fall.  One was the small flat rate box $8.30 or so 2-3 day service.  That's a tough box!
I placed a pound or so of gaming tokens in a zip lock bag that filled 80% of the box. Taped the outside for extra protection
It was headed to AZ, six weeks later it makes it, empty. Had a whole in the side and looked like it had been used as a hockey puck for a few days.

The other was a packet of coins,  never made it.  The coincidence is of the 100 or so packages I mailed off last year (15% coins) the two that went missing were coins.

soooo anything high dollar I us FedEx with all there tracking tech.  If its something like a Cas in person only now days

You are supposed to file a police report when your mail gets lost? I had no idea. Mine were "lost "in the mail

I got a literal cut out of the box back with the label. Somebody literally just cut the label off of the box. With a box cutter.

Not a police report but you're supposed to report it, yea: https://faq.usps.com/s/article/Mail-Theft

Postal Inspectors take their job pretty seriously and would probably look into it if it shows up on eBay. I don't know if they would if you only reported it years after the fact though.

If my coins that were stolen pop up on eBay or somewhere else. I don't know exactly how I would prove I owned them besides extremely old photos that might be on my photobucket. Which I don't think they are anymore since photobucket changed.

Unless they would accept the PMs between me the buyer and the escrow.

You could easily prove you owned the coins with the DMs. I don't think there is any way to alter old messages. However the likelihood that you ever get the coins back is basically zero. There are so many variables to this situation that could work against you ( police wont care to look in to it, ebay wont care or wont since they dont technically allow crypto sales, seller would prob use a newbie account with fake info, etc etc)

You'd have a police report from when they were stolen. Roll Eyes

Satori coins (x4) and BTCC 1K chip.  99% certain these were stolen.  I had them in my office, had someone in the house, and now they're suddenly gone.  if I find them, I'll update the thread, but I'm almost positive they're gone.

The satoris are numbered:  013133, 019026, 019004, and 019023.  The BTCC chip looks like P(orF)QQ411 starting digits

Reference, these coins in the auction here:  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ended-satori-chips-and-btcc-1k-chip-5108024

FYI these were found and already auctioned in this forum.

Curious if anyone who's had items stolen via the mail, if any of them were sent using registered USPS? There's a never ending supply of thieves working for all mail systems, and esp with covid it gives them such a leg up to do a lot more damage.  If you really care about what you're sending in the U.S., send it registered only ( I'm assuming no one has had these messed with)

Was sent registered item from Canada...got stuck in NY ISC customs postal system for months...then it vanished. So reg is not 100% safe either
