We all know that bitcoin is facing a downfall today and it really makes us upset, but it doesn't mean bitcoin will be worthless because there are still chances that bitcoin would gain back it's price again up to 20k USD, that is why don't lose hope.

Really eth is better than btc? Then why eth can't break the btc pairs? Even after crypto crashed btc reached 14k$ but why eth didn’t reach the 500$.
In 2017 after banning bitcoin in china btc crashed 4.5k$-2.1k$. But after few months btc reached 20k$? If chinese control btc then why btc reached 20k$.

it's trust. while i agree eth is one of the ONLY alts that has an active community, development and a presence that isn't just fake marketing; bitcoin has trust. it's the longest chain in crypto. it's what the whole community has been developed around. the "tech" isn't the issue with btc, it's the security. currently bitcoin has the best security of ANY crypto. as for the miners controlling ? yes and no. should a group ever try a 51% attack it can be quickly addressed by the devs after the first double spend. andreas did a talk on this very subject recently. china has a dominance in mining mostly because of the cheap energy in the rainy seasons. BTC

Don't get upset at the current price of bitcoin, it will still deep. Bitcoin is not worthless, there are lots of testimonies about it usage and benefits.
I do advice that you should engage in long term investment, that would be more profitable and as well prevent that state that you have found yourself.

Most of the time it will depend on their demographics, some are using a particular cryptocurrency because most of their participants to their circle of friends use it also. And in other cases, it is based on the country itself, there are countries that mainly created their own cryptocurrency for them to use. People compare Bitcoin to anything they hold. If they hold XRP then it's better than Bitcoin. If they hold ETH then it's better than Bitcoin. I have seen the same within stock market forums when I was still trading stocks.

People have an incentive to shill whatever they hold a lot of, which just as easily applies to Bitcoin holders. Bitcoin holders consider every coin that isn't Bitcoin a scam or at the very least a shitcoin. In most cases they are right but not every coin.

I don't consider Ethereum as scam or shitcoin, the same applies to Monero and a couple of other coins. People are free to choose whatever coin they use or invest in. Why should we trash them for doing that?
