$ 50 per dogecoin hugh, let me see 8,880,118,756  doge out there

marketcap would be  $444,005,937,800
bitcoin marketcap =    $ 6,173,026,790

Yeah they just dont get the laws of the market like that. I think the problem is too many people got fooled and someone walked away with a ton of money. Typical hype and then dump. now the rest of the people are sitting there wondering what happen.

A currency has its value when there is much demand and sell supply when it was launched on cryptsy it went upto 0.1 BTC per dogecoin that makes it $50 per doge coin but you guys started dumping it and the value sank.

Those weren't representative of the actual price...that was before any deposits had gone through. There were like 2 doges for that price and maybe 200 buy orders for more than current price.

Look at block rewards. High block rewards even if random means more coins are out there and easier to get.  Lets say right now you hit a block worth 100K... you mean to tell me each one of those coins should be worth a buck each? maybe if the dif was 1000x more than it is now....

yep.

Quoting myself:

There is no fixed value for a cryptocurrency. The value is what the majority decides.

If people sell their Doges for 50 Satoshi then this is the value.

If people only sell at 100 Satoshi then this is the value...

Guess why BTC is at $500. Because no one wants to sell a BTC for $100 right now.
