Yeah you should stop listening in false news or fake news because it cannot help in all people thus it can be a big problem for us when you should listen it.

False news brings to people to be crowd even if it is good or bad news but if it is a hot issues. If this news are false and you believe without any justification you shared the wrong information to others that brings you to be an untrusted person. It's better to clarify first the news before you believe to prevent sharing the wrong information to other people. If you can justify that it was a false news then don't listen.

The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another.   A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto".   What the...    Why is it causing another crash??  Why is it even "news"?

It was already banned in China back in September 2017.   All trading platforms suspended trading in September.   Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms.   Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall.   So what?  These people have VPNs!   When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs.   Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago.   So what?  Everyone is still using it.   Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth!   Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.

So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times).   Do not fall for it!
1.  Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2.  September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3.  November or December?  China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4.  January 2018.  China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5.  Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"...  (Really?)

So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?
"China really really full ban crypto"Huh
"China will jail anyone who trades crypto"Huh
"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"Huh??

Stop spreading this nonsense.    What's done was already done in September 2017.   Nothing has changed ever since.  NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Yellow journalism at its best.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news.   South Korea did not really ban crypto.  Just one guy wanted to ban it.  It was not approved, nor implemented.   So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously.   So what?   Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?

India also did not ban crypto.  Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto.  No real "ban" whatsoever.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down.   The sad thing is, people are falling for it.   The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened.   Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news".   Use our brains.   Not hearsay from yellow journalism.   It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

Since bitcoin was created, there has been bad news about bitcoin, and the bad news has not killed bitcoin, and bitcoin is still thriving. What we need to do is to identify the authenticity of the messages and then decide whether to hold the bitcoins.
The whole news background around bitcoin, in most cases, is done to manipulate the market. How many times have I seen how distorted or even paraphrased phrases that contribute to influence the market .

We should not believe or either liste  to false or fake news. It is not true that bitcoin will end soon and that cryptocurrency will stop as well as blockchain. As long as there is bitcoin what should we do is to support this.

I never believed in the news that bitcoin would be closed. okay if the government can close the wallet accounts and exchanger for acces it. but my question is, can the government really block this blockchain technology?
... Yes, we never believed fake news and it's impossible that the government can block the blockchain technology. Actually, only a few government against of bitcoin, But a lot of people and some government supporting and involved the advantage of bitcoin.  I think, the more they spread a fake news, the more convincing for knowing about bitcoin to those blind about the advantage of bitcoin.

The spread of fake news is one of the causes of panic in the crypto market, people keep spreading unauthenticated news around causing unnecessary fear in the crypto market.

People who spread the fake news are mostly people who doesn't invest in bitcoin, they fold their hands while some people were investing now they want the system to crash by spreading unverified news. Bitcoin has come to stay regardless the propaganda.

Fake news for me is a signal to buy more from the dip for it surely there will be a rebound. That rebound will be the signal to take profit then wait for the fake news once again then buy. Yearly it happens and it is very quite obvious for us not to see it. If you really are a true believer of bitcoin then by this time you should already knew what is fake and what is not, take advantage of the situation and surely you won't be sorry in the end.
Fake news is often done to influence the undecided, it is difficult to influence people who believe in Bitcoin. Fake news is actually preparing for manipulation, traders should follow the media but not believe the news.

I stop listening to those fake news.I never believe in a news without me knowing the facts. I always look for something before believing a fake/false news. Bitcoin was a victim of fake news as well. It just so happen that a lot of people believed it without realizing that they missed something. Bitcoin is a good investment and for them to believe a fake news, its their loss. I pity them because there are a lot of ways to earn money via btc and they are missing it.

What the OP said is true and the problem is that a lot of people believe in these fake news and keeps on spreading them making some believe it is true. That's why before I react to anything and wake up the next day and see my portfolio all in red, I usually check and find time to read news and compare them if these really are the reasons why the market is down. And everyone should practice that if they are trying to be a good trader too.

I do not think it's okay to just listen, because by listening to the lie we can give a real review or evidence when people start to be tempted by the lie. Someone will be so easily influenced by the news that we must conclude the news and straighten that the news is false or false.

New investors are now considered as headline readers. They just read the biggest text displayed on the news online and that's all they considered panic selling if there are shaky prices on the crypto market.

The things that one should never do in crypto is - listen to what media has to say. Media is always manipulating people's minds about crypto because the banks are not happy with crypto gaining the edge over them. They will always try to FUD crypto unless the banks adopt crypto themselves.

There is news going around everywhere. From reddit channel shills to twitter spammers and FUD shills on bitcointalk. These are the breeding grounds for shills and thus one must take all information from such sources with a bit of salt.

Precisely. As an investor and trader we really need to just skim or read the news with a "hook, line, sinker" attitude. We must read between those lines to figure out what they are really up to since some media outlets are reportedly paid to give crypto a bad shade.

Ignore those people who spreading the false or fake news about cryptocurrency. Instead of spending time with them you should focus on your carrier as a bitcoiner.

Yes man, some media organizations are making a lot of anti-cyriptomoney news. And some people who are very panic guys doing same thing. So it cause domino effect
People who do not learn into this, actively pick up false information and distribute it among their friends as a virus. From this, the entire world of crypto-currency seems to them some kind of evil.

I read some articles about the "fake news" in the field of crypto - about 80% of these news are untruthful or twisted by the media management. It is essential for many news websites to create negative buzz since it gives them more "clicks" and curiosity from the users` side.
Journalists and ordinary people behave like this. They need comments, arguments, reviews, likes. This raises their rating. That's why they are interested in posting contentious information.

yes its not fair, people go around spreading fake information just because they want to say something which is very bad is better to speak positive than to speak force information.
