Unfortunately we live in a world now where if you heard it somewhere on the Internet it has to be true. You are completely right that in the past couple of weeks there has just been story after story about bitcoin.
Funny as many big investors missed out on the rapid climb of crypto currency values. I would not be surprised if they get involved now that the value has been driven down by FUD.
It is quite hard to educate ourselves on the internet full of fake news and information that control by the government or personal experience. But I think this forum is the key for us to have the proper and right information because we all know that the system here in the forum has a good development that could help on having or posting information for us to know and for us to believe.

False news was, is and will always be. And since the crypto currency depends entirely on demand and supply, such news will always bring significant losses to the holders of crypto currency or simply unpleasant moments through the decline of the course of various digital coins. Especially dangerous are bad news, whether real or false, when bitcoin will grow very much in its value. Due to the fact that people will be afraid to lose their significant funds in bitcoin, panic and depreciation of bitcoin can begin as a result of the appearance of each such bad news.

perhaps those who spread false news are people who do not like bitcoin or those who are jealous of the development of bitcoin today. Which became famous in several countries. Grin
Exactly, people who believes on false news eventually might experience of loss. Better have the confidence not to get easily on panic at all because this will cause of losing your money once believing in fake news.

The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another.   A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto".   What the...    Why is it causing another crash??  Why is it even "news"?

It was already banned in China back in September 2017.   All trading platforms suspended trading in September.   Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms.   Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall.   So what?  These people have VPNs!   When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs.   Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago.   So what?  Everyone is still using it.   Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth!   Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.

So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times).   Do not fall for it!
1.  Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2.  September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3.  November or December?  China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4.  January 2018.  China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5.  Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"...  (Really?)

So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?
"China really really full ban crypto"Huh
"China will jail anyone who trades crypto"Huh
"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"Huh??

Stop spreading this nonsense.    What's done was already done in September 2017.   Nothing has changed ever since.  NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Yellow journalism at its best.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news.   South Korea did not really ban crypto.  Just one guy wanted to ban it.  It was not approved, nor implemented.   So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously.   So what?   Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?

India also did not ban crypto.  Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto.  No real "ban" whatsoever.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down.   The sad thing is, people are falling for it.   The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened.   Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news".   Use our brains.   Not hearsay from yellow journalism.   It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

That's correct stop listening to false news so you will not be influence by people who don't have much knowledge about bitcoin. Be more open-minded about the issues. A hearsay is a hearsay meaning it is not a fact. We cannot control people if they are negative about bitcoin but we can change our own thinking so we will not be influence by them.

Since bitcoin is not provided with anything, its rate is not regulated in the same way as ordinary money, it depends heavily on the opinions and actions of bitcoin holders who will always use various false news about the crypto currency. Even if bitcoin rises to a very significant position, a well-planned action using false news can ruin it, because people will be afraid of losing large amounts of money invested in bitcoin and there will be enough false information to trigger panic and irreversible consequences for depreciation bitcoin. Therefore, bitcoin of great value carries a great risk of its depreciation.

Yes, you should don’t mind that person that is spreading fake news about cryptocurrency. You are just wasting your time and effort these kinds of information; instead you should spend more time in learning more in cryptocurreny.

This is one of the most wrong with people now a days they been fooled by the news or the fake news though they tend to trust even it's all fake. This lead to the investors on our community to panic sell and cause the marketplace volatility.

That is why we have internet, we have google and other information giver to search about a particular news, what happened last time is there is no credibility of news yet people believed of what had spread, specially to the beginners and FUD's who panic sold their coins after reading a unreliable news without even researching for it.

Since the first false news was there, but I never believed that bitcoin would be closed, it could also be a deliberate fake news by greedy investors who want to panic people, panic and sell bitcoins to investors.

The real fact is bad news and fake news caused by bitcoin enemies or even some big investors from bitcoin who want bitcoin prices to fall elsewhere so they can buy cheaply. Financial institutions consider bitcoin as a threat to their existence later. Cool

This fake news propogate by some people who want to crush Bitcoin just to buy it in smaller price.
False news is harmful to our community, it makes the world less informed, and it erodes trust. It’s not a new phenomenon, and all of us — tech companies, media companies, newsrooms, teachers — have a responsibility to do our part in addressing it.
There is a reason why they are spreading such news, as stated above because they want the price of bitcoin to crash and because of this kind of news, those who are new to the cryptoworld has jumped into conclusion and decided to sell all their coins in panic. The person behind it was very happy because they achieved their goal on making bitcoin dump.
False stories have become endemic not only in crypto world but everywhere and no one is exempted from it. We can do something to prevent this from happening or to fight against it. Let's all be aware, be guarded all the time and be scrutinized with all the things happening around us and of certain consequences it may bring.

If you are using internet you should be aware that not everything you read is true or correct. Fake news are spreading all over the web. You should learn to distinguished fake news from real news so you also cannot spread fake news. Many fake new release but we see clearly how strong bitcoin is. And yes just ignore all stupid news.

To avoid being victim of fake news, we should learn how to be open minded and be keen observer, search more on what is really happening and don't believe easily.  Let me share you a qoute from DMX, "Don't believe everything you hear, Don't believe everything you read and only believe half of what you see". Just like what he said, we already witness how bitcoin becoming strong from then until now, so don't be confused if you don't want to go in the wrong way.
