What's wrong with the PR? Asking purely out of curiousity - I'm only just beginning to read through the thread, and would like as many people's opinions (good or bad) on this project to learn as much as possible.

But we get access to the project lead tomorrow. With the lack of interest, it should be apparent that the project plan should be revised.
