With the announcement of release of long awaited features market now behaving totally unexpectedly. I can take it as trap of whales to scare the holders last time to push them out before starting the huge upward trend in Stratis. I was bit surprised seeing the price since morning.

When do you think this manipulation will stop? As in, when are all of the whale accumulators going to let the price rise? Surely they will, they have to sell one day right?
I dont think that this is manipulation. Early investors just want to sell a part of their holdings to buy some lambos or yachts. That's normal - chart is in a consolidation phase and waiting for a breakout.
They deliberately didn't keep the community informed about Breeze because they wanted to avoid a big pump followed by a news dump that gave a bit of it back, I thought it might be a good move too. The irony is they just got a mini dump but no short term price appreciation for their hard work. Stratis will eventually rise as adoption increases which is fine but I think this is a lesson to other projects to keep the community well informed and updated so that awareness & value rises around big milestones as a lot of the value will be kept even if there is a bit of a news dump. Think Strat would be a billion+ & breeze would be getting a lot more recognition and free publicity.
