I have spoken with Chris about this. Sometimes ways part due to different visions and opinions. Chris believes the way Stratis has chosen is the right way to follow and so do I. Decentralising the Tumbler is the right approach.

There is no minumum amount, but you only get 1% p.a. so with 10k you will get 0.274 STRAT per day on average. The block reward is 1 STRAT, so you would get 1 STRAT every 3.65 days with 10K
