Sorry but StrongU STU-U6 is a scam. The equipment has only 440 Gh/s and consumes 2,200 Watt. Far from advertised. Worst, those who pre-ordered are not getting their money back from the manufacturer. Stay away from StrongU company.

At the rate x11 miners are evolving it wont be long till there's at 1 th machine, is too risky, too many people getting burnt on machines that are only months old.

Not likely, we are seeing an upper bound on efficiency given current market conditions for X11 coins. SPx36 is ~8J/GH, X7 and U6 are both ~5J/GH.

In a recent HashNest post (https://support.hashnest.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034008732), StrongU has delayed once again to the end of October.

And the power consumption is 2500W instead of 1450W.

Take care !

Hi,
Can we trust this company? I mean, do they delay the product in months?

For those who have not yet purchased, shipping would be in October if purchased now.

If escrow is not an option, it's because you're not putting any cash into the deal yourself, right? So you're just offering to coordinate a group buy. Not saying that's a bad thing, just asking for clarity.

I haven't been able to find much info on StrongU - are they legit? Website is just over a year old, and I don't find reviews for current or older machines.

Thanks for the suggestion to contact the manufacturer. Can your provide the contact details please?

In a situation where it is a preorder, the cash needs to go directly to the manufacturer in advance. Somebody has to pay for the goods in order to get the commitment from the manufacturer and the money can’t just be tied up in escrow in a situation like that. If you have the capital to buy in bulk directly from a manufacturer, I’d suggest just to do that. But if you can’t afford their MOQ, then going through someone like me makes sense.

As this is a preorder, I would need 80% upfront and 20% before delivery. Otherwise, escrow is usually fine.

You can check me out here: https://www.scottofford.com

willing to use escrow? if so ill take 10

Why would escrow _usually_ be fine.  In what circumstance would it not be fine?
