When you're a newbie, you always rely on faucets just like me but a few days ago after joining this site I realized that It's a waste of time.

My main problem has been exchanges going bust and losing coins. I'm usually careful about not leaving much on an exchange, but you still need to keep something on them in order to trade. So far I've lost from Mintpal going bust and Cryptsy. Cryptsy is in administration and in theory they should repay a portion of the coins back, but who knows how long that will take.

I am using a number of different ways to earn bitcoins, like I am earning bitcoins from my signature campaign from LuckyBTCcasino, which has a very good rates for its members, and with that I am earning a large amount of bitcoins from my website, and in the past I was working on faucets also, but now I am a faucet designer and create faucets for getting pay etc.

Faucet are just waste of time its better you try doing bitcoin or altcoiin trading (if you have low budget). But better you buy bitcoin first and learn trading with small amount. Good luck

I got scammed by some faucets that wouldn't pay out until you earned a minimum amount. The minimum was impossible to earn even if you worked every day for a month on them. The other type of faucets pay out tiny amounts but they do pay out. However IMO even those are a waste of time because you earn so little.

The biggest struggle is getting jobs paid in Bitcoin... That aren't all that many and those that exist aren't really for my set of skills.

Well then just convert part of your fiat earnings to Bitcoin.
Buy constatly, each month a bit for instance. It doesn't have to be much. And beside your sig campaign you could end with a nice amount at the end of the year.
I'm myself not very skilled in programing or designing user interfaces etc.
So I just try to earn some cash beside regular job and try accumulate constantly, a bit here, a bit there.
Many a little makes a mickle over the long run. Smiley

I started with faucets and used them quite a bit at first.  They're fun but I always knew they were a time-waster.  Bitcoin faucets were always more bloated than the altcoin ones, so I would mostly do the doge and dash faucetbox thingees.

Been scammed, probably by a bought account here.  It was Timsweat, who had green trust at the time.  I got taken for 0.3btc, but I should have gotten collateral.   So many shady people on this forum.

You know, faucets can be your lucky ticket, if you concentrate on the referral side and you grow it aggressively or it can be a total bust and a waste of time. The strategy with faucets are not to solve 10 000 000

Captha's and hoping to become a millionaire... but rather choosing a faucet that pay for referrals, and then building a massive network of people, who use that faucet daily and then getting passive income from

that. I did a experiment once, and only introduced 100 people to a 10 faucets with a referral network... in the end, I sat back and I received weekly passive income from these people using these faucets. The

income was very low, but it paid for a few coffee's and I did nothing to get that income.. just told people about it and gave them my referral link.  Grin

The struggle faced often in the earning of bitcoin is the difficulty experienced in getting enrolled into signature campaign. The next is the faucets, which don't pay good for the time we have spent on it.

Faucet's are a waste of time. I earn my BitCoin legit ways, like working hard for it or selling something of mine. That's how it works. Don't do gambling sites, don't use faucets, or go to Ponzi schemes. It's all just a waste.

good tactic would be to use the facebook faucets

then get them closed down by FB for non payment

act like your running a business and treat every

FB faucet like its also a business, which they

technically are
