I too think that bitcoin will again hit $20k mark may be midyear.
Month of March has started off well and I expect value to continue rising as we are now done with all festive celebrations which tend to affect the market a lot.
As for bitcoin to double by midyear very possible as cryptos are sometimes are predictable but i would like to see a new all time high around this time.

What do you expect? If you have followed Tom's prediction last year, he is very bullish about bitcoin because he is a investors, just like what you gonna hear from Tom N. and John M. They always predicts that bitcoin could go as high as they want because they want to see their investment grow as well. Sometimes this prediction is a hit or miss though, but one thing is for sure. We are going to see new all-time-high this year and we don't need to hear those so called "experts" because there are none actually.
All experts are same. They will suggest whichever they have invested so that they can make a good profit. I usually don't believe all these experts advice but because of this news if prices go up then all bitcoin investors will be benefited. Currently, markets are less volatile so we shouldn't see any bad news but these kinds of some good news may help to the crypto world.

NO one can predict the price of bitcoin because it is too volatile now a days,but even if it follows the last year trend it will be doubled at the end of 2018 not by mid year.But the positive news like these encourages the investors so the demand will be more so the price will be more too. ~Wall Street's Tom Lee

Even those big investors is exaggerating some predictions, it needs more than just that on purpose so bitcoin can recover faster. Surely it can help than making enormous statements from Jaime Dimon but this have a tendency on pulling bitcoin price from dip to green, I can read this for days in positivity with this kind of man ~ Tom lee.
If that happens by the middle of the year, surely this will be benefiting a large user community who has been keeping hold of the bitcoin expecting growth. Bitcoin is to cross a resistance point, and for the same it has been struggling for a long. Once that takes place, we'll experience stabilized growth doubling the price.
I'm just not buying anymore all those analysis and prediction from so mayn experts and the question is if they actually know what are they talking about.
Many times it looks like those predictions are ordered form someone to reach some purpose and they don't actually reflect the real situatio and possibilities on the market. Just don't bother with that and don't make decisions according to such predictions you might get terribly wrong.
