Dogecoin is just cute. I have a few but ... no plans to do anything with them -- unless someone comes up with an actual way to get Dogecoins to support or benefit animal shelters or something "dog" related. I'm glad I didn't put any on this site. I am happy enough just to stow them using the basic wallet.

Apparently there has been a fix issued for this - you need to update to the latest client.
DogeCoin was a temporary fad anyways. I don't see why Bitcoin fanatics would need to attack DogeCoin adopters.

I am also unsurprised. I was going to sign up to that online wallet so I had an address to get sent free coins, but it looked like a scam so I didn't bother. Oh well, nothing of value was lost.
