I hear what you're saying, but I seriously doubt any newbies are going to be dissuaded from using an escrow because of anything spy100 wrote--especially not if they also read this thread.  His opinion about escrowing funds doesn't really carry much weight, and frankly his writing is a mess to begin with so members of any rank likely wouldn't follow what he was trying to say.

You registered in March of 2020?  You've got to be the alt of a more senior member, but I'm having a hard time guessing what that other account is.  Anyway, you're right about the above statement but the chances of spy100 having the capacity of that much brutally honest self-reflection are so close to zero that I'm going to go ahead and call them zero.

Out of curiosity I've looked at OP's trust and I've seen that he's tagged many forum members as Chinese Communists. WTF? I don't know about the others but I've read The Pharmacist on the Economics section and he doesn't look to me like a communist at all.

You need to understand that what you did was childish and idiotic. You offered to escrow P2P bets and was offering the service at 10% fees which is high but let's leave that alone since anyone can have their fees setup and offer any service.

Now where this goes wrong, please read and understand.

1- You don't have a credible trust score that is usually required for escrow services yet you made a thread and after a reputable member warned you, you said fuck off and never gave a proper answer.

2- Instead of politely apologizing for your mistake, you are trying to prove him wrong when clearly he is not.

Look any trusted forum member who is part of the DT has a small responsibility that they protect new users from POSSIBLE scam and while I am not accusing you of scamming but clearly what you were doing was pretty risky and hence sucmoon leaving a feedback is actually justified.

You might be a great designer or coder but the behavior you exhibit here is not trustworthy at all, the feedback might be harsh but there had to be a better way or approaching him and requesting him to remove it.

Making a mistake is acceptable as long as you realize and apology instead of trying to counter your mistake by aggression.

@spy100, I can't say you scammed anybody unless I get a proof, but I can truly say tht you're just talking shit about escrows and motivating people to go and trade here with anyone without and escrow, the result of which could lead to serious financial damages and losses to many of those noobs who will just listen to you and try to save measly bucks but will probably end up getting scammed and losing their money if the work/service isn't delivered to the other party. What will the party do? They'll just come here and tell us the scammer's name but what do they get? Nothing.

I swear the word "troll" has been watered down so much that it's lost its original meaning.  If X disagrees with Y about something, Y gets called a troll, and it's a terrible overuse of the word--I see it not just on bitcointalk but on Youtube quite frequently. 

OP, you didn't get trolled.  Suchmoon, Vod, and owlcatz are warning the forum about you and your behavior with their negative trust (there's more, but those are the ones in my trust network), and the flag against you might have been excessive but it was backed up with facts and garnered quite a bit of support.  You can rage against the forum culture all you want, but it's not going to do you a damn bit of good.  Perhaps you should have figured out how things work on the forum before doing all that crazy shit that got you negged and flagged.

There's a lot of it going on at the moment and I've tried to talk to suchmoon without success even having others "suggest" I stop attempting to reach out to them to resolve whatever it is they think I'm supposed to have done wrong, only to have suchmoon outright reject my attempts at reconciliation.

You're going to have to get used to the rough ride that's going on by DT Trolls at the moment.
