From my own experience i found Xapo and Exodus to be very nice wallet. I had Blockchain wallet but it charged fees to transact money to other person's blockchain wallet. Then I discovered Xapo which doesn't charge for transfering to another xapo account.  it kept my bitcoin cash after the fork which i later converted to bitcoin. Another one is Exodus desktop wallet which is quite good and nice team. They offer several other altcoins as well which can be easily exchanged.

Ethereum wallet. Your wallet needs a way to communicate with the Ethereum network. Just like an email, you can give anyone your email address and with a cryptocurrency
you can give them your public address. There is a second part to your wallet and this is your private key. All someone needs to know to send you money is your public address. The one thing you should never share is your private key. If someone gets access to your private key, they could steal all your coins.

But you can't do that with all altcoins.

*sorry if this topic is not suitable here, but i need help.

Hi,
I am using coinbase since from the start. But now i want to change my bitcoin wallet. Since coinbase disabled the sign message option for the users,i want to leave them permanent and badly need a secure wallet for my hardly earned bitcoin.

I don't want to download the full blockchain, and don't know which wallet is safe and easy for me.So please help me out.

I have only coinbase wallet, i never used any other wallet.

In my country we use coins.ph because it is the safest wallet that we can store our bitcoin if you're currency is peso. But there is one more wallet I know. It's blockchain wallet. I have an account on that site they says that it's safe to store bitcoin there. But I haven't tried storing bitcoin on that wallet but I could say it's safe because of the feedbacks that I have read.
Ofcoure me to , my wallet is coin.ph here in the philippines becuase this is the popular wallet in our country and so much safe to store your money here , but my friend says coin base or coin ph. Is good.

If you don't hold your bitcoin wallets private keys then Coins.ph is not safe at all. Coinsph is only good for cashing out i don't recomend it for storing your bitcoin. I suggest you use electrum or put it in a hardwallet.

but if you want use and download bitcoin core but it is longer and they eat up a lot of space in the hard disk.

You don't have to download the whole transaction data to keep your bitcoins secure. Electrum is a lightweight wallet for Bitcoin which instead of downloading, connect you to a Bitcoin node which takes care of it for you. The only thing you have to do is to use a strong password which will protect your wallet from hackers and any unauthorized attempts to access it.

Jaxx is the most famous and one of the most reliable once right now. For ultimate security, its best to have your own wallet installed on a PC not connected to the internet.

There are so many wallet that you can use for your bitcoin like blockchain.info and xapo bitcoin online wallet. Blockchain wallet also add the ethereum coins so you can hold ethereum funds in that wallet as well. And for the advance user choose exodus for desktop wallet , jaxx and coinomi wallet.
Safety Reminder: Always keep your private key in safe place!

Personally I have found Mycelium to be good in the past, though I think they have taken a hit to their reputation recently.

Paper wallet is the way to go for me.

I agree with avikz.

I use both Coinbase and Electrum and both have served me well.

However, if there is an upcoming fork, it's better to move the money off an exchange to your own wallet such as Electrum.

It depends on which exchange you have your money. Because during last hardfork (Bitcoin Cash) exchanges weren't accepting deposits for a very long time. I would advise you to look which exchange is going to support Bitcoin Gold/Segwit2X hardfork and move your bitcoins there. As far as I remember BCH was worth about 50% of BTC price at the beginning. I sold it for about 20% of BTC price.

There are many kinds of wallet like online and offline wallet. In addition to that, some people prefer to use online wallet because it is very easy to use than in offline wallet and if you want to use or access offline wallet you need to install it to your computer or laptop.

I'm Suggest you to use Blockchin. It is very easy to use.

I am also using a Blockchain.info wallet for the past several years. Till now I have not faced any issue with them. But I have seen a few threads here, warning users against using Blockchain.info. For me the biggest advantage with Blockchain.info is that I can set the fee manually. And at the same time, I can also export the private keys in text format.

I'm using electrum wallet since hard fork bitcoin occur and I find it very useful because I control my private key and it supported sign message, Electrum is the best bitcoin wallet for me. Mycellium also looks cool with the same feature to electrum but I highly suggest electrum because I have a good experience on it.

good recommendations for me try and it seems very safe to use, now I have not more information about this wallet, maybe later I will find the information in this forum

With online wallet I think Coinbase is a good one. Don't use Xapo wallet cause you will have to pay too much fee, both deposit and withdrawal fee so when someone send you small amount of Bitcoin about 0.0001 - 0.0003 you will not receive anything, it's just enough to pay the deposit fee. Beside if you wanna  use offline wallet you should try Electrum, with Electrum there are some option for you to choose for example two-authentication wallet, multi-signature wallet,....and with Electrum you can set up the amount you wanna pay for transaction fee, it's very convinient but when you use Electrum two-authentication wallet you will have to pay additional fee for the secure level.
Coinbase has more advantages as compared to any other online wallets it security protocols are unbreakable and the transaction fees of this wallet are also low as compared to other coin wallet, think sensibly before making choice for the wallet and see your requirement if fulfilled then add coins into it, beware of scammers and thieves out their they can take all your coins so choose wisely.

There are hundreds of wallets available online, why would you ask some strangers for advice?
Do your homework - research internet, compare different reviews, listen to professionals!
I don’t think that it is now risky to hold bitcoin because there are a lot of the bitcoin wallets available in the market and the changes of the bitcoin is occurring in the change of the bitcoin wallet the hardware wallet is the good and the secured wallet, I am using the blockchain and the other wallets such as the paper wallet and the online wallets.
