I tried downloaded the electron wallet binary but it was removed as a detected Trojan. I managed to compile the wallet from the github but it was a pita on windows. It did work and managed to send my bcc to an exchange without problems once electron actually compiled.

This is good, thank you very much for sharing.

Electrum Cash

Pro:
It works

Con:
People don't get the fact that you need to manually switch the nodes to BCC or it will show Bitcoin balance instead (only cosmetic)

so are you able to transfer you BCH from electron cash or not?

i am using electrum wallet.I want to get my BCC but i currently don't trust any of the BCC wallet until i hear if you can claim your BCC from trusted BCC wallet with no problem.i will wait a couple of days to claim my BCC.so do you have succeed claim your BCC to "whatever" the BCC wallet you use?please share here.
First of all you need to know that yet no one wallet launched to storr the Bitcoin cash and also no one official ways are available to get BCH coin directly ( need manual option that thr moderator ( theymas) told in the forum with strp.by step procedure .
And also here you are right at your place to jave patience to wait to claim for the BCH coin , because already i seen that electroncash.org trying to spread his application in many places but few people are saying that is risky don't use because they arr not official team.of electrum ( further electrum teams says that they used the copyright of electrum wallet ) , no doubt thry are going to make some suspicious work , so wait until the official way we got , otherwise we will loss our btc also.

yes,i read pros and cons about electron cash,so i don't want to take the risk and need more suggestions because although i can secure my BTC,i also want my BCC.some people said to avoid Eelctron cash while others suggest me to use electron cash.so i will wait, although i really want to claim my BCC,just hope not too late Tongue at least Until i can exchange to some BTC .

He use a fake version!!! The real domain is not a .com domain!!!
Chrome already blacklisted the .com one.

I have written over and over move your bitcoins away from the wallet before you import it if you get a bogus client somehow.

Okay,i would like to hear more suggestions before i decided which BTC wallet is the best for me.can you tell me are you able to transfer your BCC from electron cash or not?

Used Electron-Cash two test transactions got confirmed. You need to manually choose BCC nodes or it will show Bitcoin instead.
(Mac version)

Which node are you using to show BCH and not BTC?

this one
