The moderator acts on a report on his/her discretion. So the reason stated in the report may not be the definite reason why the mod chose to act on it or the report may be worded wrongly and does not present the actual situation. There are also cases of multiple reports for one post in which case there are multiple options to cross it with.
Reports are suggestions, and can not be put up officially as the reason for deletion as the forum mods are taking responsibility for the action.

Adding the comment of the reporter might only add more drama and more complains than what we already have.
Staffs will suffer nightmares all the time if they have to be forced (as new rule) to add mandatory reasons why they delete posts, topics; ban/nuke accounts.

Did you guys understand my suggestion, at all (or am I not eloquent enough)? I meant, cross link the report reason to the message. it won't hinder the work of moderators at all, and it will only take initial development.

Do you mean the comment that the reporting user entered in their report? Absolutely not. This is (somewhat) private communication between the reporter and the moderators. It should not be available to the user being reported.

Yes that's what I mean, thank you, and I disagree with reason you wrote.

I understand this could get difficult for mods, so may be just cross link the 'report reason' under it? Without name of user who reported it of course.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/force-moderators-to-give-a-reason-for-deleted-posts-5201683 this is the recent one. Please lock this thread and read/post there before this thread got spammed with multiple unnecessary long replies repeating what's been posted over there.

Topic has been discussed severally yet nothing have been done toward this probably as from previous topics it has been highlighted that implementing this request will hider the work rate of the moderators, as few seconds spends either by clicking on a drop-down reason or writing one, will reduce the rate at which reports are been attending to on a larger scale.

Sometimes, I get my posts deleted and more often than not, reason is not clear.

Proposed solution:

We receive PM whenever our post gets deleted right, so how about that message also contain reason for it's deletion?

What you think?
