Maybe one comment was moderated by mistake. You are welcome to talk about the price here too  Smiley

Hi ttookk,

We won't tolerate any form of fake news in this ANN. You quoted people who claim Sumokoin devs sold their funds during the recent price loss after Sumo's listing on IndoDax (which is not true).

I'm sorry for the strikt moderation of your comments since you only quoted those fakenews, but we won't let fudders missuse our ANN to spread lies.

I'm sure you can understand.

Ok, fair enough. Thanks for the answer. However, one of the quotes didn't mention anything in that regard. It is quite ok and not unusual in moderated threads not to allow price discussions, which I think is a fair rule.

I created this price discussion thread to keep this thread a little more tidy:

I think the bottom ( 9k sats ) is reached, and as Bitcoin is now in a bullrun, SUMO will follow the same, all weak hands are gone Wink

Prepare for the flight !

do you think  it  will go down with the rise  bitcoin or go up with the rise bitcoin
I hope it will rise  again in a short time

RISE !! And sooner than later Wink

Hi @sumogr,

could you please elaborate on the moderation policy in this thread? I didn't find any statements pointing out what you think should be discussed in this thread and what should not be discussed. I just got two messages deleted, which, admittedly, were mostly focussing on price action and I would like to know why.

Is this discouraged in this thread(talks about price)?
What else would you consider delete-worthy?
Could you please make clean and concise rules for this thread?

Thanks and regards

The coin, of course, is still quite young, but I think that it has such a feature as the confidentiality of transactions, and it is very important in my opinion.I think over the Sumokoin cryptocurrency works a great team of developers and it is quite profitable for investment.

It will recover, don't listed to the fud.

It lost more than 50% in very short term! If you would have been investor, you would be f...ed...
This is no fud....
But maybe it will recover.

network disconnected on latest release w10 64bit installer*

0.0.5 worked fine for me but stopped syncing when 95%

Also biggest mistake people do on bitcointalk is to make several threads for the same coin, when you goto google or another search engine you end up on the first thread with outdated wallet links and outdated comments.

By the way, has anyone any clue why SUMO does so well since trading on Cryptopia is enabled again? Especially since it is totally contrary to the general market sentiment.

Hi guys . My wallet GUI wallet is stuck on block 166531 I downloaded the new wallet 0 7 but when I download it it gives the same block 166531 what to do? I downloaded and zip and exe problem is not solved if I delete all the sumo files on the PC I do not lose access to the wallet?I know that if you download the entire sumo blockchain, you can quickly use your wallet, but where can you find it on the torent? and how to install it (injection) on PC it can be downloaded in GUI or only LUI plz help

Maybe this helps for now:

https://www.reddit.com/r/sumokoin/comments/8abejo/psa_what_to_do_if_sumowallet_cli_or_gui_stalls/

I made this . Just need to delete all the files of the old wallet and re-install the new but!synchronization has started again and it takes a very long time . Where can I find the blockchain raw sumokoin and download it not to play 1-3 days ? Why developers will not make the blockchain raw to off site ? and for the usability of the coin need a web wallet

Web wallets are trust-based and therefore dangerous. I know they've become some sort of a "standart" with myetherwallet and all (which I admittedly use from time to time), but really, they are extremely counterproductive when it comes to security and enforcing security best practices on the user side.

That being said, what you are looking for (raw blockchain) is generally called a bootstrap file. I'm not sure whether there is one for SUMO, googling around didn't yield any results. Would be a nice thing to have indeed.

Yes bro but we are not hackers . We are users if you want success a coin needs to be easy to use and not sit in the console and to download a 30 KB block chain from off the server . Bitecoin (BCN) has a web wallet and lives well )
tell the developers to make raw on the torrent for all and added to off site

I don't have any more contact to the devs than you have. If you have suggestions about how to improve upon a project, go tell them.

I somewhat agree about the "not hackers" part, or, to be more precise, I sympathize. The problem is that crypto grew too fast. There are no really good secure solutions for ordinary users yet. At the same time, people are pushing in, demanding those solutions, which leads to devs creating halfbaked solutions such as web wallets and stuff. I mean, if you know your opsec, sure. But the fact of the matter is, that for regular customers, they are even worse from a security standpoint. I for sure can't imagine giving my "click every ad" parents crypto and tell them to use web wallets. The sad truth is that crypto is not ready for the masses. And trying to cater to them by endangering their funds will lead to a lot of bad blood.

But this is a fundamental discussion and not limited to Sumokoin.

I give up. I dont know what happened to this coin but it flat out doesnt work anymore. I CANNOT send any money out the wallet regardless if its synced to the network.

GUI just says "sending coins this may take a while"

and the CLI doesnt even connect to the daemon to actually send the coins but it is still actually connected to your network. It just flat out wont send.

both regardless of being 100% in sync.

Your coin didnt do this before. Guess im out. This way too much of a hassle. Im not going to spend anymore on electricity. Your wallet shouldnt be this tough to use.

This is all I ever get. This whole fork non sense is really affecting your supporters. You arent really leaving me any other choice. There is too much SUMO locked in this wallet.

Just spams this for hours. No matter the amount being sent. I dont see how any "average joe" will be able to use you successfully. How can mass adoption even be possible if these kinds of technical complications arise. People cant even tie their own shoes. Food for thought.

Im over it.

edit: took it to my office and refreshed it there and i got my funds out. i had to use a computer thats never seen a wallet but it worked.
