Seems interesting. What makes this project unique?

  • SUMO is privacy - focused
  • SUMO is a Monero - Fork
  • SUMO has Bulletproofs implemented
  • SUMO has a ringsize of 49
  • SUMO is from early 2017, the DEV team ist still around and very active
  • SUMO is on many markets
  • SUMO had 11$ ATH in early 2018 and has more potential than ever bevore

I confirm, I have a sumo very long and dev is always active and helps in solving problems. The project is trustworthy

Why don't you get some good developers instead of some horrible coder that changes the wallet and loses everyone coins.

On top of that the new wallet doesn't even have deposit addresses.

I uninstalled the new version wallet and installed the old version wallet and tried to connect to the old wallet and now it says network disconnected. The problems dont stop with these wallets.

I just want my coins back so I can send them to indodax and never use this horrible wallet ever again.

On top of that there is no way to receive or send coins because there are no addresses.

I want the 1094 coins that were lost when I sent them to indodax . I want the other 20000 coins that are lost when I updated to the new wallet.

When I installed the new wallet and synced it all my coins are gone. so it has gone from bad to worse.

Not only did the 1094 coins I send to indodax not get sent , but now all my sumo coins are gone.

I've saved the seed words and they better work to get my coins back.

When you guys have us install a new wallet the number one thing that matters is don't lose our coins.

I sent 1094 sumo coins from the wallet to indodax and they didn't get sent. After 12 hours it still has 0 confirmations. What happened to the sumo coins and how will I get my coins back. Who with the sumo coin team do I talk to about this transaction

Furthermore why are some of my coins locked. They should not be locked at all. The wallet should allow access to 100% of my coins.

I tried to join the telegram and the link doesn't even work. Sumo coin has a lot of technical problems that need to be fixed.

We even testet 100, so no, we do not expect it to have a negative outcome. The best thing to go would be 100, we tested this, but did not dare (yet) to go for it now. We may consider it at a later point though. If you want to learn more about it, read the monero paper about tracabilty and mixins. It is well written.

Is having a ring size of 49 way too many? This will no doubt have a negative impact on transaction speeds if the blockchain becomes busy. Is there a mathematical reason why 49 is the magic number in terms of unbreakable privacy?

I don't want to lose the coins i have on the wallet. If I deleted the old wallet and install the new wallet my coins could be lost.

What files need to be saved to make sure the sumo coins that are stored on the old wallet are not lost

As for all CN coins, the only thing you need to safe are your seed words. With then you can restore access to your coins on all our wallets.

Write then down safe them as secure as you can. As long as you have your seed words, you have access to your coins.

What do you mean by update the wallet. Is there some kind of update button on the wallet that downloads a new wallet. I have v.0.1.0 wallet

I just open it and it synced. It says 100% synced.

Download the latest version (0.2.0) here:

Hello, missed the HF by a thread (currently block #274851)

Is there anything I should do or know?

Also, is there a Discord for this coin?

Just update your binaries and / or wallet, that's all.  Better join our telegram chat, it's our main forum for communication.

SUMO back to the right mindset:
- kill ASICs
- spread the HR
- code; rank 47 in the dev score of coingecko, toping more than 2000 cryptos
Will there be two coins?

@jsker2
@boris215

All exchanges confirmed to update to our latest binaries. So did Cryptopia. As soon (if) as they go life again, they will update their binaries and you can access your coins.

We are only about 180 blocks away from our upcoming hardfork height (which means it will take about 12h to reach block 274.000). Please update your wallets / binaries asap.
Will there be a division of the coin? I have a little sumokoin but it's on cryptopia

I have the same situation. All my SUMO coins at Cryptopia, and now this wallet is offline. What should i do  Huh Roll Eyes

As stated by sumogr, the wallet/binaries just need to be updated asap. Exchanges should do the same too. And then there would be no worries.
