Is there anyone here, whose account has been activated post hacks in the last 3 months. Just wanted to check, if I am walking on broken eggs...because validation can be done in various ways

Wow, if your account has been hacked and you show the email from your associated account, validating the same & request for support from the forum, that amounts to spamming, great...and that too when you have been kind enough to mention it here for the first time.

Kudos to your support in the Meta board specially designed for member support.

I am so grateful sir, to ask for support resulting in spamming and wasting the precious time of yours, which you could have cultivated for self development, monetory gains & out of the box contributions...

The only way to recover an account is if you can prove, in a crypto way, that you own that account. To prove that, you should have stacked and signing a messaging using a Bitcoin address or have a PGP in any other place.

If you can't do this. You should, before reclaiming any account or spam this section, start to read about cryptographic signature.

Oh, thank you for your understanding and kind words. Patience is a virtue that I have inculcated into my being and giving up doesn’t come easy to me. It not really the inherent value of the account or status associated with it that matters but it’s the principal that counts. Hackers or anyone will not take things for granted...simple…Thank you for your empathy, appreciate it.

Yes i understand your feeling right now, its very bad news to hear of what youve experienced, it happens for a reason, its just a test how strong your faith is so keep moving on and dont ever give up, everything will be fine.

Its not a matter if its a legendry or full member account or not, what matters is that you value what you have & have created. I may have a net worth of $2 million but that does not mean your $2000 is less.

Maybe you understand or not...

It has taken work & patience to create my previous Jr member profile

You are making it sound like it is a Legendary account which you have been building for years with hundreds of constructive posts and contributions to the forum and now you are worried to lose your respect and position if you don't get hold of that account anymore.  Roll Eyes
It is just a Jr. member account which you must have been using for hardly a month and a week and I'm sure it doesn't carry any Merits in it considering the quality of your posts in this thread. You can pretty easily make another account (which you will, or maybe you have) and reach that position in a month or so without any major efforts as it doesn't require any Merits to reach that rank but it only takes a few posts to reach there.

OP, slow down on the keyboard...

Breathe in...Out. Breathe in...Out.

I know you are pissed right now about your account. But take awhile and check for avoidable errors on your posts that may likely cause ambiguity to readers and may end up not helping your case.

By the way, it takes time to draw Theymos or Cyrus out. You have to exercise patience for they are always overwhelmed with work.

Hi,

I am pasting below the proof the email received to lock my hacked account 'dilpreet111'. Why do we do so much, if we cant get support?

ell me what I can do to prove, I don't want to lose my account...

Does it mean that the Hacker wins & its better to goto them and pay few bucks and get to Legendry than working for it...

July 15, 2017, 08:19:52 PM is not an older member.

You seem to spend all your time in the alts as well, and this may be why you haven't read the thread stickies to know that this should be posted in Meta.

I'd move the topic, and that could give you a better chance of getting a response.

Hi,

It has taken work & patience to create my previous Jr member profile (dilpreet111), which got hacked on 31st March 2018. Basis the option sent on email, I locked my account.

But I have writting to the moderators, Cyrus &  theymos via PM, but have received no support so far. I have specailly created a new account on the forum to get support.

Is this value we give our old members, if they need support from the forum. TTill date we have been sharing our views & contributing our knwoledge but when need some support., there is silence.

It hard to believe & digest, that some hacker can get away with this & the forum just keeps quiet. What incentive & motivation will others have, if older members are treated like dirt.
