The economy is not static, so what worked before will not necessarily keep on working, and jobs that were lucrative decades ago, stopped existing as now we found a way to replace those people.

Then people must never assume they can keep doing what they have being doing for the rest of their lives, and instead they must take the attitude that at most they could keep a job for 5 to 10 years, and after that time is up, they may need to find a way to do something else or change career paths completely, a very different environment than what our parents faced, but it is what it is.

Surviving in this economy always need a new mindset because the world keep evolving and you need to adapt with the change, failed or slow to adapt with the current economy, you will lose.

If you think the current economy is worse than before, it's better for you to make a research first to know how bad are the economy in the past.

Well the governments like US have been in huge debt for years. And people have been falling for a collapse for decades and still hasn’t happened.

Covid made the situation worse because it went up exponentially. Sure we got higher interest rates but we also have inflation still. Last cpi was like 0.5% or so. It should be around 2% for the entire year. I don’t see it going to 2% anytime soon. So rates will stay higher for longer. Not good for mortgage holders but good for bond holders.

We have come to a time where it has become harder and more complicated to earn money due to expensive living costs.

We now have to think of other ways to earn money and I know it is proof of a bad system but nowadays having only one job isn’t enough and you need to have some other job sidelines. Fortunately, investing in bitcoin isn’t as physically taxing as other jobs would be. Yes there’s a lot of effort time and money that is invested but in total I think it is the best option to earn money.

Seeing this post, I took a guess that you're either from the same country as I am or from another African country. Africa is a continent where politicians say something they don't intend to do. They know they can do all that and get away with it as their citizens hardly hold them accountable. It's a big shame. To make matters worse, the same thing the politicians do with unfulfilled promises is what those in the religious circles also do. Every new year, there are declarations upon declarations of prophecies that don't come to pass. Living very hard or things getting worse for people is as a result of not not renewing our mindset, and how do we renew our minds is by engaging ourselves with a productive Job or even acquires some skills by ourselves than to keep waiting for church (gospel preacher) or for the government. Let’s not forget how cost of goods and acquiring some services would increase without a significant increase reflecting in the salary that is supposed to foot these bills.

Now the common thing is to cut cost. Coming from someone that is doing pretty well, it might easily be achieved, not without its strokes but yeah, you could still find life with ease just without some excesses but, for those that struggle to live day to day, you really don’t get what to cut. Your just in the struggle.
Your chances at some good living would be getting other jobs to support your source of income.

I don't know man, at this point it seems like you don't only need a new mindset, you literally need another job to supplement the rising prices and the ever-increasing taxes that come with it. It's fucking sad that the upper echelons in the industry and society is just able to do this willy-nilly because someone said the economy is in shambles, and us at the bottom can't do anything about it but agree and submit. Makes me want to be an anarchist sometimes lol.

At the end of the day, it's high time for us to realize the importance of not only working for money, but also making money work for you. People who can do so must keep in mind that they need to invest on anything, doesn't have to be crypto, and make sure that their finances from future-proofing it to making sure that they have money for the rainy days are kept in check.

The way this economy is going on currently is good, and everyone should find a way to survive. Because the cost of goods is high, not everybody can afford to buy what his family can eat on a daily basis, and the cause of this is a lack of jobs.
You expect a person to go find another source of income or start a business, and there's money. How is it going to be possible when he's suffering to survive in these difficult economic situations. They said that is money that they're using without the money, any business you try to start won't be possible. The same thing is true with investment; you can invest in Bitcoin without having a successful income.

Yea, but it is only when your mindset is not on track that you will need a new mindset only you are referring to diversification of investment, yea I am a good Bitcoin enthusiast but there is one thing I want to let you know and that's for you to investment in Bitcoin you must have money that you have either save or in your possession it doesn't really matter the strategy that you want apply for your investment, there is a point i want to make and that point is, what new mindset will a poor man that has know clue about the economy or Bitcoin investment have to survive in the present economic era.

At all times the same economy is part of a boom and bust cycle. There will be good times, when money flows easily and credit is available for even the most spurious of ventures and even to the worst recipients. Then there will be bad times, when the economy seizes up, banks stop lending to all but the highest credit applicants and lots of jobs are lost. Since COVID we've been in good times, but it can sometimes be hard to determine when the bad times are upon us. Considering how high interest rates are right now - it's causing people a lot of pain in their finances. The best mentality is always keep improving your skillset and keep a hustler mentality.

People really need to think outside the box in order to survive in this economy. If one is to stay on one job and not have a side hustle or a business, you will not be able to survive in this economy and not get enough savings for the rainy days. I am earning quite handsomely on my job, but I still have a business and a side hustle that adds up to my savings and my money for investment. In this economy, you'll never know when things will get sour for you, so it's always good to have a backup plan and not stick to the traditional methods of keeping a day job and tending to your family at the end of the day. A little bit of sacrifice, but it always goes a long way.
