This is a slap-in-the-face to the coin communities and Polo's customers.

Delisting from the busiest exchange is the kiss of death.

Polo = bittrex2.

I don't own any of those coins but it still pisses me off when exchanges take it on themselves to "end" a coin/traders after they made a shitload of money on it/them for years.

Shame on you Polo.

didn't they already delist these coins?
i do my trades on bittrex so i have no way of confirming this but i remember reading 1 or 2 days ago on reddit and also on this forum that they have already removed these coins from their exchange and i remember thinking why a couple of these coins were in the list for example since i recently made a good profit by selling MYR on top of the pump.

It will be delisted on May 2. I think this is enough time to disseminate holders about this action. I wonder why delist many coins all at the same time? Poloniex is not explaining why they delist them but I think this is due to low volume on trading and about the devs not active or no further or proper development on the coin?

Just checked the website itself and it indeed was there. They have announced the delisting of these altcoins. However, I don't know why they did want to delist them, but these coins still had some daily volume to them. However, the problem was that they were only used for the purpose of manipulation.
Poloniex can only hold so much of those coins just so they could dump them in another exchange. Small amounts aren't going to get them anywhere.

About time, there's a bunch of coins that people don't really care for lurking in the Poloniex exchange..

If make sense for them if all of the alt-coin mentioned don't have a trading volume or low volume to start with. So if any one of you guys are holding you have still more than 1 week to sell it. But what if those coins suddenly jump its price and volume starts? Will still Poloniex de-list them?

Poloniex has recently announced its plans to delist 17 cryptocurrencies on May 2, 2017. This decision was recently published on the cryptocurrency exchange’s Twitter page, and has no explanations of why the Boolberry (BBR), Bitstar (BITS), Coin 2.1 (C2), CureCoin (CURE), Horizon (HZ), I/O Coin (IOC), Myriad (MYR), NobleCoin (NOBL), NuShares (NSR), Qibuck (QBK), Qora (QORA), Quatloo (QTL), Rubycoin (RBY), ShadowCash(SDC), SuperNET (UNITY), Voxels (VOX) and Magi (XMG) altcoins are going to be delisted, surprising many altcoin traders.

Experts comment the prospects for these altcoins on other cryptocurrency exchanges: https://coinidol.com/poloniex-will-delist-seventeen-altcoins/

Update: However, there are signs that someone knew about Poloniex’s decision to remove some altcoins before the official announcement on Twitter and has already earned some money using this situation. Read more: https://coinidol.com/suspicion-of-insider-trading-at-poloniex/
