Most of the market is directly correlated to Bitcoin. Therefore, if something happens to the price of Bitcoin every single altcoin out there will start going down or up in price. Well, not always up in price, but still if the Bitcoin goes down everyone follows.

I am beginning to be suspicious of the Crypto market. I have been observing the market price movement for sometimes now and I discovered a recurring event in the market. Any time the price of Bitcoin is down the price of virtually all the altcoins follow the same direction. Just like the current state of the market, all the Coins are in Red in coinmarketcap.com and I begin to wonder Why? Must all the Coins go RED at the same time and vice versa? Can someone convince me that this is normal?  Can someone convince me that the market movement is not controlled by some tech guys that are using 'code' or some group of whales that manipulate the market price? With this recurring incident, I doubt if the crypto market price movement still obey the economic law of demand and supply. I don't know what you think about this. Share your views, please.
i also ask about this does china cause all prices to decrease? who reported that they closed all the network ceypto when we know that China is the biggest supply.

I also ask in confusion as to what happens with market movements that always follow bitcoin or ETh although not all will be the same but most of alt coin will influence with bitcoin prices.
so maybe we should be smart trading to understand the current market.

All coin status in the market are likely synchronizing on their pricing status movement, as we noticed, when bitcoin and ethereum down their price, all crypto coins at the bottom line would also follows on what above coins doing, so meaning that's the normal life of cryptocurrency business.

Man, I will tell you a clue about what have you seen. You said that when the market goes down at the same time and this is my point. If you are seeing bitcoin goes down and all of altcoins will be following it.
Remember the majority of altcoins are using bitcoin as the main pegged crypto to determine its price. When bitcoin market goes panic and this will be affecting altcoins market.

That's normal and nothing suspicious about that. Once bitcoin value goes down all alts value goes down with it. With too much coins going around people forgot to value bitcoin the most. Yes there's ETH but it will never surpass Bitcoin.

Seems you're new here and don't understand the trend of cryptos and how it affect each other. I would suggest to just focus on bitcoin movements and you'll know what will be the next for altcoins. There's three things happen, if bitcoin goes up alts will follow, if bitcoin dump and alts as well but sometimes if bitcoin pump alts will dump. Though these are just analysis but it can help somehow.

My answer is always bitcoin will always beat all. this is due to, “because Bitcoin is king/queen, and the other coins are at best following it.

It is hard to come up with a fundamental algo with which to price coins, so coin prices just follow Bitcoin as a sort of gold standard (“the Bitcoin Standard”).

It is the number one coin, and thus it is the coin that decides the market price in general.

If there is another standard way of changing ALTs to other currencies example to FIAT. it would much less affected to the price of BTC.

Buy, sell and store real cryptocurrencies
Bitcoin is the center of crypto currency qnd if this go down allmost currency will be affected too so the point is all red you can see in coinmarketapp is normal. Very long red market? Look what the market situation in quarter 4 of 2017 all most no dip on graph and continuing on pumping. What I mean is if there is a long pump or green day also there is red days. It is also currency so no currency will go go to pump. Remeber in every currency ther is a seller snd buyer. And what happening now is seller has a great volume than the buyers

Because first all altcoin always has pair alt/btc. So when bitcoin down, altcoin will down in USD, people usually panic sell when red market so price will dump harder and pair alt/btc also down. That why all go red at the same time when bitcoin down.

I think you are right because the whole idea is about bitcoin acting as base currency for majority of the altcoins as we learnt from crypto forex trading. So what ever affects bitcoin affect the other pair. Anyway this ripple effect is not for all the altcoins it's just for more than 80% of the altcoins.

Since all coins are built in crypto they are most likely related to each other, the bitcoin which ranks the first in all cryptos is currently bloody and having a hard time time fluctuating, which leads to other crypto to turn red as well. Perhaps investors are a little bit intimidated to invest  in alt coins due to whats happening to bitcoin.

We agree or not,  bitcoin plays very important role in the market, as it is the king as we all call it. so if it starts falling everyone starts paniking, and they we get the results, the wave of red.

The altcoins are usually tie to bitcoin, hence altcoin price will go down when bitcoin price go down. Bitcoin price also affect investors’ confidence.

Of course the whole thing is rigged.
Just look at xrp and doge, two complete different projects, ideologies purpose.....
One is a central company coin the other decentralize blockchain
One is mineable the other a 100% premined never ending ICO
One has permanent development the other occasionally written a line of code
One is serious the other a mime joke

There is zero reason that they have the same price movement, but:

The revolutionary trading ecosystem
I don't understand it myself either but one thing I have learned in my short time here is that the markets trend and they do that for longer than a couple weeks. Figure out what that trend is and from there figure out how to extract money from it. We don't need to know why exactly, knowing that it trends is good enough for me.

Could be the whales manipulating it. But on the other hand, the markets are very volatile these past few months.
