Are you going to partner with Binance? I think it would be an interesting partnership.

I understand they're trying to make as many partnerships as possible Binance included

By the way, have you published the guide yet?

Guides are yet to be published, as it will vary depending on each method and partner, therefore we need to finalize the partnerships and afterwards lay out the procedures.

Why are people bothering with forks...
We have enough.

BITCOIN ATOM is not just another fork, but implements core fundamentals that Satoshi Nakamoto outlined in his white paper. Such as decentralization and removal of dependency on any one party or system.

While cryptocurrencies can be exchanged P2P and on exchanges, it is inefficient, costly, and subject to hacks, and credit risk -- in general anything which is centralized could be compromised, and should be avoided if possible.

We believe that with crypto becoming an asset class, Atomic Swaps are the future of trading and exchanging value. We feel that BITCOIN ATOM is the future of Bitcoin as it is the only implementation of atomic swaps embedded in Bitcoin.

Simply put: minting will be generating blocks (PoS blocks), but it will not bring any APY (% per year), thus Bitcoin Atom's total supply will never exceed 21M coins.

Participating in PoS minting will simply give a variable amount of transaction fees as a profit from minting.

PoW model (mining) will continue to operate normally in parallel.

Recently we had been receiving questions about Bitcoin Atom's PoS model.

Just as announced, BCA will have both PoW and PoS consensus models put in place. However, our main objective is to preserve the original Bitcoin's deflationary economic model. This means that the total supply of BCA will never exceed the original 21M coins.

Thus, PoS minting will not generate any additional subsidy, its primary goal is to serve for the network security and stability. However, it will still be reasonable to keep your Bitcoin Atom node up and running, as PoS minting still gives you proceeds from transaction fees of transactions included in PoS blocks.
