I think you should be careful looking into cash flows with ICO's. Usually the ICO's that raise the most are not the best, but just have the most money to throw at marketing or for paying for influences.

I would rather find a project that is realistic and is more down to earth.

One i am waiting for is Crowdholding. Not trying to make 100 million, have nice realistic goals that can be achieved.

BAT, Bancor, those were some big ones. There will be bigger and bigger ones with time I think and next year new records will be broken.

You can see the biggest ICO at this site:

https://www.coinschedule.com/icos.php

So Filecoin is the biggest now! 257 millions!

So even 225 millions is not the biggest ICO.

No! Powerledger is much better. They have already reached $17mio. The ICO is running now and it is super cheap. Check it out here

The ICO target they want to achieve is 65 million tokens or the equivalent of $ 225 million. Do you think Swarm Fund is the biggest target ICO ever? https://swarm.fund/
i don't think so becuse Filecoin generated more than that if i am nkt mistaken

I also remember that Filecoin generated $250+m.

I think the bar is too high. At such a time it will be very difficult to collect such a sum with such marketing.

I think it is not a good sign if ICOs aim for a massive cap. This doesn't seem necessary for purpose of getting things off the ground, it looks more like pure greed and cashing in on the ICO rush. I prefer those with a smaller cap.

Well, it depends if they are offering signature campaigns and socila media promotions. If they are really serious in making it one of the biggest ICO, they should invest in people as well to promote it.

I think that would be second biggest ever behind Coinfile. Other equally big ICOs were Tezos, EOS, and Bancor. In my small experience in the crypto world unless the project

is really great and already has a working product, it wont be worth the ICO. I say that sadly speaking from some experience in these big cap ICOs   Sad

I find it hard for someone to break Tezos achievement. But since there is many new-comers in the crypto industry, a newly proposed, well groomed idea, could make the difference, and see a token that hits half a billion or more...

But surely is not coming from this so called swarm fund.

I guess it's insurmountable task, especially now, when news from China is not so good.

Swarm fund can't become the largest ico project inb 2017 and they are make non-sense hardcap, tezos already become the biggest fundraiser ever i seen. If you think swarm fund will have a lot of potential and i can say no for that. I mean the soft cap will have  reached but not for the hardcap.

I noticed that Real Estate project-related ICOs are really setting so huge a target for their ICOs. I think the money they need for their project to really see success is very big. This might become the very reason why their project will not hit their target. I hope this kind of project is not ICO dependent that if the ICO does not hit the target amount, it would altogether crash.

This is a tough year for ICO, until September much ICO is present. but ICO quality is very low.
Some ICOs appear then go quickly.
after china to ban ICO, i think ICO should be more qualified.
new regulations are needed for all ICOs to be more secure.

Not only the biggest but the funniest of them all, swarm fund what a funny name, the name alone makes me to stay away from it, I don't know about you but I'm not a fan of ICO myself because they are all here to take our money and deliver if they actually deliver in years, why would I put my money on hold for so long if I can make more money by other investments?

I think a lot of these ICO's are picking a bad time to launch, there are way too many of them.
