Just here to gather some support to bring the 25ks back in the Quarantine Series, I know there were quite a few people who enjoyed it. Maybe run a 1k or a 500 alongside the 25ks, I don't think they would cannibalize each other too much.

A 25k HU championship would be especially great!

Thank you. I like the requirement change, that jackpot hit way too often.

I prefer lower Jackpots that are easier to hit, so thus prefer the current system. I wouldn't want the requirements to be any higher.

I've been doing some more digging on the idea of increasing the bad beat jackpot minimum qualifying hand requirement (currently AAATT).

Here are SwC Poker's most recent BBJ hits:

  • April 7th, 2020 -- Royal Flush vs AAAKK
  • April 1st, 2020 -- KKKK vs 9999
  • April 1st, 2020 -- KKKK vs AAAKK

  • March 25th, 2020 -- AQ v AJ on AAQJK board
  • March 14th, 2020 -- AA vs KK on KKA75 board
  • January 14th, 2020 -- JJ vs TT on AAA84 board
  • January 11th, 2020 -- KK vs QQ on AAA85 board

Just for reference, here are the most recent BBJ hits at a competing online poker room with much larger playerpool (that shall remain nameless) that uses 2222 as the minimum qualifying hand.

Thank you for compiling this data. The next difficulty increase will be gradual, and as the number of players continues to grow we will monitor and evaluate the right time for further increases.

The current qualifier of Aces Full of Tens beaten is in place until the next time the jackpot is hit. Full info will then be posted with details about the new requirements going forward.

If you are already making changes it would be a great time to include omaha BBJ tables as well.

My 2nd question still stands. How do you create a tournament? I explored the entire site but could not find anything there.

The SwC Team sets the regular tournament schedule, but SwC will also host community events if they are run with a high standard. Submit requests to our support email.

This isolation period probably worked the best for SwC for sure, I mean don't get me wrong they were always the best poker website in all of bitcoin world but at the same time they were having hard time figuring out a way to make huge tourneys, people did played time to time and there was many great poker players come and go but to get them all together and at the same time to make a tourney for the great ones was a big challenge.

Thanks to corona (however horrible it sounds to say that) they managed to get all of them together and with free time to play together at the same time, which resulted with probably their biggest ever tourney so far to date, at least as far as I know of. By the time this ends, it will definitely be the most anticipated tourney result ever.

ANNOUNCING WEEK 4 OF THE QUARANTINE SERIES!

APRIL 13th - APRIL 19th

This week's Quarantine Series schedule once again features at least 3 events each day in a variety of games and buyins ranging from 500 chips to 10k; including the 10k Championship Event with 1 BITCOIN guaranteed!

New this week is the addition of an optional single re-entry to select events. Players that are eliminated during the late registration period will have the option to re-enter the tournament at any time up until the close of late registration. The player's second entry will be labeled in the tournament lobby with a "#2" following their username.

The popular "Doubles" Event returns as #65A and #65B. Win a bonus prize of 10k chips for finishing in the money in both tournaments, a 50k chip bonus for winning both; and the player with the best combined finish will win a 10k chip bonus.

The winner of each series event will again receive an exclusive seat in the 50k Tournament of Champions on Monday, April 20th.

DOUBLE KRILL for all play during the week continues!

Don't let the lockdown get you down. Join us on the virtual felt for the Quarantine Series at SwC Poker!

All tournaments are up in the lobby and qualifiers are running now!

Stay home, play bitcoin poker.

The qualifying hand requirement will be adjusted following the next jackpot win. Full details will be posted.

Those tourneys are only for the players who won an event in the quarantine series that SwC is running. Look at todays tourney, I am in the week 3 freeroll.
I see I am too late. But just curious, how do you guys receive the password. I see in bitcointalk poker efialtis sends the pass but here how? Comes from the owner or it's something automated you receive in your email.

My 2nd question still stands. How do you create a tournament? I explored the entire site but could not find anything there.

Anyway, I am enjoying my time. Just finished a tournament at 4th place. Beaten by two pairs A4 where I had A8. Went all in but could not get luck.

It was an 200 chips tournament open for all I guess.

Hey mate,

congrats on yesterday´s victory! =)

Regarding tournament creation: There is no "do-it-yourself-way" when it comes to creating tournaments. I have been in touch with the SwC guys and they set up all of the tournaments for us and sent me the respective passwords.

Guys I am new to your site and also new to Poker (only around 5 weeks I learned poker LOL). I got involved because of Bitcointalk poker tournament. I was just browsing your site and ended up these freeroll tournaments:
https://play.swcpoker.eu/?tournamentId=40232293
https://play.swcpoker.eu/?tournamentId=41556256

Question is how do I get the password of these tournaments or what to do to get the passwords?

I have another question: How do I create a table to host my poker tournament if I want to. In the Bitcointalk poker tournament I saw forum users are creating their own tournaments. How do they do it?

Thanks.

A jackpot is still a jackpot, even if you hit it quite frequently that is still a jackpot. Plus in regular casinos there are many people who hit jackpots on slot machines constantly, almost every single day one machine gives a jackpot usually which is some sort of marketing thing from the casino because in the end slot machines do make them good amount of money but they are all pennies type of amount so giving people jackpot makes them coming back and eventually lead to bigger games that casino could make more money from.

SwC could use this the same way, jackpot winning is very important in this line of work, it shows people that there is always a way to win big, which is a great marketing thing you can have. They are not giving very little neither, 285k chips is huge.

Can you call it a "jackpot" if it gets hit every three days? I've said it before and I'll say it again now, I think 2222 should be the minimum qualifying hand at the very least.

That aside, the site looks great! Been logging in every day during this quarantine. Smiley

Thank you! Grin
