been trying to get on for 30 mins is the site down?

nah its working fine for me here ...try help > force reconnect

1.25k overkrill running

It isn't working for either of my computers.  And it's not that one is a virtual machine, because the other isn't working either.

I think there is a connection issue. because of that too many people failing to login.you can visit the site currently 130 people logged in.

This is what I conclude from recent posts:

SwC is developing an Android client
They don't want to divulge how much progress they have made
It is taking longer than any of us thought it would
The SwC Windows client has some known characteristic that will not function under Wine for Linux or Mac
Tensions are escalating
When they do release an Android app, things will get better

In other news, all the games/tables just disappeared from the SWC poker lobby, for no apparent reason.

This on top of the countless times I've had to log out and back in again in the last few weeks due to some error or bug.

There was normal maintenance & it was for less than 20 minutes.

1.25k Over Krill  in 2 hours .

I just want to say that the new leaderboard promotion is horrible. I'm very disappointed. I'm not always around to play in a 4btc Krillroll if it's not at the right time.  I'll still play a lot on the site and I'm sure I'll qualify but this was a bad decision in my opinion.

Seconded.  OK to have a freeroll obviously but for the big players this doesn't matter and is inconvenient.

Horrible idea and unforgivable to change all of a sudden without warning.

Krilloween is coming-- new leaderboard promotion!

http://img.imgur.com/VvDo1Zu.png

The top 40 krillers for the month of October will receive a Halloween treat– entrance into a private 4 BTC Krill roll scheduled for November 3rd! All month long, krill your way towards harvesting a dark offering for the spirits of those past krilled.

You can now view the top 40 krillers for the month on our krill leaderboard page: https://swcpoker.eu/krill-leaderboard/

This replaces our previous leaderboard promotion.

So what about those who were currently top of the leaderboard for the week, I take it the top 5 at the time the format was changed will receive the full BTC chips compensation and hats they had rightfully earned?

No shit dude, it's only about 3 posts back where me and NLNico are reporting that it's not working.  Anyway, I'll probably keep playing with it, I'm still not seeing any errors, just that the client gets to Init15 and then exits with return code 0.
I suggested it should be still possible by changing some settings, installing some libraries, etc. But they seem to suggest that there is no way it could work because of some currently technical methods they use.

I think NLNico already put his own bounty on it.
Yeh, but I also asked them to make this higher, if they agree Wine support could be useful Tongue So I am glad they are considering my idea.

Anyway, if you guys have extra programming bandwidth, maybe get that android client going.

It's about reward vs effort.

Sure, if they have an Android client they can get a lot more players. But developing it takes months.

While Wine support might only bring in a few extra players, if it takes them a day to change some things to make it work, it's obvious worth the effort.

BTW, I assume that they are already developing an Android app and I also assume this is a different developer than the PC client developer.

I may write code in exchange for bitcoins.
Able to log in with Wine?

Wine may run Windows apps under Linux, Mac OSX, & BSD

We do not support Wine, and it will not currently work.

I had run the old client under WINE. Haven't had *nix on this system since the new relaunch but I figure it should still work.

Mm strange, I installed it with PlayOnLinux and debug it with that too. I do get to see the whole normal PC client, it just doesn't get any data.

Code:

lmy ip is >>hidden<< ( this data is from some HTTP GET request to SWC, they use that info in their PC client I guess)

CgMessageEngine::Connect >>hidden<< our socket: 244 SSL is 1
