Is there a free or inexpensive VOIP way to call Sweden?

I thought that's what work phones were for? Wink

Suddenly marked as shipped.  No tracking, no burn in.  But, hey, I'd be tickled to receive a box of parts if it had truly shipped.

Hosted users,  might want to check your miners.  I just had one go down and not come up and my 2nd went down but came back 5 minutes later.

Well I woke up today, to see an e-mail from btc guild that my miner was off line, witch means they built and tested mine about 7 and half his ago, " I made an account for my miner on btcguild and set the option to notify me if my miner went to idle so I would know if they were testing it, well that worked" and I did receive an email from Ann saying I should get tracking today, but as of now, my order still just listed as in progress, and no tracking,

Has anyone whose order was suddenly marked as "shipped" yesterday gotten tracking info? Seems like there are a lot of us who have not...

No, I got a response from customer service and even though my order has been marked as shipped since yesterday (15th), it has not been shipped.  They said I should expect a tracking number later today (16th) but I have not gotten anything and it is the end of the day now in Sweden.  Looks like it can not make it out until at least tomorrow (17th).  "Shipped" no longer means it has left the factory.
Also got a response from Emilia some minutes ago that I should receive a tracking number today. My order has status "Shipped" since yesterday late afternoon.

I like the fact that bitcoin price is steadily climbing higher....I really like the fact that China's version of google, called BAIDU, is going to now start accepting bitcoin for some of its services....seems like China, India and Brazil are areas of blossoming growth for bitcoin.

it's not actually baidu but one of the many controlled companies (just acquired in Sept 2013).

it's a sort a cloudfare

a good sign nonetheless

If the current growth is amazing and surprising, buckle up, because you havent seen anything yet.

The current spike was achieved by a single small company that by its own admission, is struggling to get its goods out of the door and looking for ways to speed up production.
Still, KnC can produce ~4PH per month. What do you think these guys will be able to pump out:

Thats  Ciara, the plant Hashfast will use. So now imagine what will will happen once HF, Bitmine, cointerra, BFL and all the others join the race..
Its going to be a bloodbath.

yes you're right, you can find good estimation of the hashrate by march 2014 here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/estimate-of-asic-pre-orders-13-to-15-phs-diff-18b-to-21b-by-end-of-2013-283820

one thing I would not have included BFL in the ASIC vendors list you made Smiley

BITCOIN HASHING RATE IS GOING THROUGH THE ROOF....WOW

I'm surprised that you are surprised, as well as about the fact that we are still below 500M diff on Oct. 15th.
Didn't you do your daily homework on a $k investment?

One thing is sure If KnC had delivery on time all the first batch miners we would have at least 400TH/s more i.e 56mil more diff

of course i did my homework, probably more than I should have.....but it is still surprising and amazing to see the exponential growth....although it does hit the investment pocket book.

Well, I'm pulling the ripcord.  I ordered a Jupiter, 63xx.  I requested a refund but I have a feeling this parachute won't open.  I paid with bitpay so I may be screwed.  I did email [email protected], I am not sure which email address is the appropriate one to contact.

My purchase of this miner was basically a hedge against falling bitcoin prices.  The prices went up so it was a losing bet.  Now just trying to minimize my losses.   I should be able to recover about 48 btc of my 62 btc I paid, so that isn't too horrible.  Probably a lot more than I could recover by mining at this point, and a lot less effort.

Anyone actually received a refund lately (or at least gotten KNC to agree to one)?

Based on the missed 15th deadline, no tracking info and reading that others were offered refunds, I requested one and got this response:

"Your miner has indeed shipped and you should receive a tracking number via email today. We have offered refunds to customers who’s miners have not yet been fully produced or shipped due to the slight delay in shipping we will be over our stated shipping date of the 15th by a couple of days.

It is not possible for you to decline the delivery and request a refund. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate in contacting us."

Hmph.

well seeings how I am 15 days away from the 'new' pricing....and that the above was mentioned..close to some hard walls  here....and the quote below

We have offered refunds to customers who’s miners have not yet been fully produced or shipped due to the slight delay in shipping we will be over our stated shipping date of the 15th by a couple of days.

and I have a Saturn order #520x that still states as PAID not in the processing que ...I sent KNC an email asking for a refund on this Saturn.. unit....

I have the Jupiter on the way now....but just looks too weird out there for that  2nd 275gh at 4K to float the boat.....by the time  I get it at the end of the month...and did I mention the NEW pricing bumping up against it as well
of NOVEMBER orders gonna ship ...and BFL an nausem...looking a bit crowded at the moment

we will see if the above quote is correct or if they are just blowing smoke....its  on CC and I could dump it the hard way but we will try this first

perhaps you all think I'm quite MAD but again ....all them nice NOVEMBER new priced units gonna ship real soon...maybe it is a bit too tight to pull it off on the Saturn that I will if lucky receive at the end of this month...imho (been greedy before at BFL and look where that got me)....this dice rolling is getting old imho

anyway bump the rest of you up a notch

anyway I'll be the first to know (or not) i'll keep you informed

Is there any thread on class action against KnC? I think the things went so wrong that damages and losses will be significant. I think  it's high time to hire some Swedish law firm to send KnC a letter. Are there any Swedish people here ?

well on hosting I assume you will be compensated..that too is my viewpoint..w/o such you may have a case..

on the shipping of units if they are correct say 1 week late..and they gave you 150gh more hash then you paid for...don't think your gonna get too far on that under that scenario

no hate just my opinion

Searing

There has been not a word about the compensation for the hosted units in TandC. They however compensated them. What about the other customers ? I do not mind being compensated in hardware.

sam has answered me in an email that there will be compensation for knc-hosted miners. there has been a compensation of 5 btc per jupiter already and there will be further compensation.
