All those giving bad comments about Swirge.com I hope you get to regret it some day. Swirge is getting better and better by the day. Just logged in and saw the wonderful new look of Swirge. And this is awesome. Their blog section is even better now To accommodate bloggers. Their wallet is also great. And they have a Marketplace which is beautifully added to the Platform. They got forum, pages, groups, and more features just to name a few.
Right now what Swirge needs is the user adoption. I believe with time they will get there. And I am happy to be an early adopter.

No, never! This platform looks shit and it seems some unprofessional developers build this website! Lots of projects came to be an alternative of steemit but all failed. Steemit is one of the top crypto projects with two different native coins! So, don't mix up a shit looking project with the legendary Steemit!
In my opinion, it's better publish0x compared to swirge, especially traffic to swirge itself is still not developed and their tokens are still not listed on the market so if you want to look for alternatives steemit publish0x is more recommended.
I think that the best alternative for Steemit already exists and it is called Publish0x. Right now, a lot of people are switching to this platform, because they are paying in Bounty0x and Hydro tokens for content publishers.

I might consider trybe as next steemit but this platform lacks many vital info and much worse is their platform lots of error when using it. There is so much things to fix and do on their website. I dont know why OP mentioned the next steemit it's very far from steemit caliber to say this can compete with them or even be the next steemit. People are like that, they always shout they are alternative to the existing and leading projects, so people can see the comparison, but in my observation, it's a long way for Swirge,there's a lot of things to be done here, but they have done a good marketing, now people are now notcing their presence, but they come out short on the comparison.

You can see publish 0x has more attractive UI rather than swirge and i can say that that's really good to see swirge has done some improvements but it looks like a big update is needed by swirge.
I hope that will get a further update with a better UI.
There are so many things I can see that's wrong with the Ida of Swirge being the next steemit, The interface is nothing to write home about and if this is indicative of their programming skills, then it leaves a lot to be desired... Additionally the Swirge token is not trading anywhere, you cannot reward in a token that has no value and expect people to leave an already accomplished platform to come there.

This project is newer and I do not know how successful it will be. Because there are lots of projects like this, and they can not all be in the top. I just tried visiting this website. It seems still not secure.
I see in the address bar, it looks like SSL has not been installed correctly. This website is interesting. It can be the best rival of Steem.
Ive seen this platform. Very young and needs a lot of development. I dont think the title is fit for this, steemit is very well known and have been proven useful. Many will probably disagree with you. Ive seen this project 3weeks ago and I can see that they have potential, and their team is active but that is not enough to build a platform with trusted users. They should improve marketing and more services provider inside their own platform.

In my opinion there will be many platforms like this because when a platform becomes famous, there will be followers. In my opinion, steemit is still good even though the reward has been reduced but as a tool to increase knowledge, I think it is very useful

However, I will be expecting something much more better than steemit, if not at the same level, because that is what will make it work and standout.
I'm sorry to tell but Steemit is still by far the best. Steemit price is down because we are still in the bear market. Although we love to see competition here, but I guess Steemit will remain the best blockchain-based blogging regardless of the current rewards. And there's not much activity in their ANN thread, another indication that people are not sold with this project.

Dosent seem very promising man, the thread only has one page since its inception
maybe the team is just working hard? 
User there also seeming to report alot of broken links in the projects info, maybe just an abandoned scamcoin?
Theres a few like Steemit, and theres maybe even room for more then one, but idk, Steemit is kinda evolving too so they need to move fast if their gonna keep up ("Steem Engine" looks really cool)
