To be honest I think I am going to switch to eth, because the price more affordable and bitcoin transaction fee is very high and switching my gambling with alt coin is easier for me to control my gambling limit

I hate to burst your bubble but Etherum is doing much better as well, its price together with other crypto currencies have been on a downward spiral and its really getting ridiculous now. I was expecting BITCOIN to be at $3500 by now but its not happening. It has been a few crazy months for bitcoin and its price. Did that affected your gambling activities? Are you considering switching to for example Etherum?

It is not about the price of bitcoin that causes gamblers to switch to use ethereum for gambling, I think some of the reasons are due to the slow confirmation of bitcoin transaction on the network, and also the expensive transaction fees on bitcoins are causing gamblers to search for an alternative solution and ethereum was a good choice.

Why should I in the first place? Bitcoin or any other cryptp is still 1:1 when I used it on gambling so no difference at all as price doesn't matter to me in terms of my gambling activities. I don't mind using either bitcoin or ethereum when doing gambling.
Switching might not be the right term but using other crypto alongside with bitcoin (only concerned I saw is the transaction time).
First of all dogecoin or any other altcoin has far lower fee than bitcoin and secondly it has faster confirmation compared to bitcoin.
It is the reaso why we have to switch to other altcoin but not to ethereum only i guess right?

Many gamblers are migrating themselves to ETH now. I think the main reason are the expensive fees they must pay to transact Bitcoins, so AltCoins are a cheaper option to move from one to another site. But they could use any AltCoin, so why are they using especially ETH? Because the price volatility that is always increasing and sometimes fast? I think so.
I believe when Bitcoin be improved with the updates that are going to be done soon everything will come back to the normal and people will start gambling with Bitcoin again.

correct,for trader,this situationmake them crazy and confuse about bitcoin price,it stable almost in one month,but i am sure it will not ffected for gambler,people playing gambling for money,and doesn;t care about bitcoin price,if bitcoin price going up when they won gambling,it was bonuses.It has been a few crazy months for bitcoin and its price. Etherum is good choice for gabmbling,i think it will same as bitcoin for gambling.
to avoid the fees yes use altcoin is good but it does not change everything from my gambling activities because i'm not the gamblers with huge amount of capital so the fees aren't problem for me but indeed to get fastest confirmations of transactions i usually use Doge or Litecoin but i'm not so often using those altcoin

No it doesnt affect but sometimes confirmation times does took soo long when using up bitcoin specially when theres a congestion on network just like on FJ you can both use Bitcoin and Etherium on playing games on the site which means its people preference on what would they gonna use. Not really, still betting the same as last time but with a lower bet amount to maintain my bankroll. I don't have any plans of switching because if bitcoin's price crashes ethereum will start to go down too. Greatest advantage of bitcoin gambling is the no confirmation deposits and the greatest disadvantage on a bitcoin gambling site are those that kyc their players. The funny thing is that Etherum raise even more and so it does not make too much sense to gamble with etherum as it is also equally expensive as compare to the past. So if i cant gamble in btc anymore since it is getting too expensive, then i would select other alt coin that is cheaper like dogecoin etc.

I switched to litecoins 2 months ago, it's ideal for gambling , stable and almost zero transaction fees. Confirmation is less than a minute and I just love gambling with it, ethereum is gradually becoming like Bitcoin so I wouldn't advice you to use that but litecoins.
I am still using bitcoins to do my betting. I am planning to switch other coins but don't know which is better. You are right now ETH also becoming like Bitcoin so switching to ETH is not a good idea. Better I will switch to litecoin you said it don't have any transaction fee and the confirmation time also very less. So it saves my money and time.

not that much. i always gamble with the amount that i can afford to lose and that amount is also always a portion of my earning so i am still comfortable even with price rise.Quote

no because it is a very unreliable altcoin in my opinion regarding the price and also the network. so i always prefer to keep my ethers on exchanges to be able to dump them as fast as possible and in case i see a pump coming to buy just as fast too.and if i want to use an altcoin for gambling i would use something that is cheap and has a more stable price and a low fee. a coin such as Doge coin.
I considered this at the time Directbet was here. But it actually makes no difference to me. Why bother switching when most of the best and safest sites don't accept altcoins ?

$3 fee is a lot, but you pay that only if you want your transaction go very fast. Since I rarely in a hurry I can see no point in switching to Etherum. I really don't mind waiting 24 hours or more for the first confirmation because I'm not literally sitting and waiting, I can do other things during that time.
If your sportsbook is charging you a withdrawal fee it's time to search for a new sportsbook 
I haven't seen a sportsbook which accepts any kind of alt coins to be honest after Directbet closed shop. Dice sites might be an exception but I don't play it much anyways.

You don't have to give private information to anyone which isn't the case with fiat gambling sites. Somehow I think this will be regulated in future.

You could do an even split between Etherium and Bitcoin to diversify. The will probably both gain value over time and both will also have a lot of price fluctuation in the short term. I like to spread my funds among several coins.
Actually I heard from my friends that it's cheap to gamble using ethereum as it's faster and lesser fee but I don't try using ethereum yet since I am quite satisfied with gambling bitcoin. As this moment I don't gamble that much so it's not a big deal for me, I am still waiting for my favorite league which is NBA to formally open so I can start betting with big money.
