Check facebook, meetup.com AND reddit for our weekly Sydney meets. Thanks to Jason for organising and for pushing the discussion agendas forward. There is a lot of great discussion going on in each meetup around the promotion of bitcoin to the general (Australian) public.
If I'm not mistaken one of the members is also organising a lunchtime presentation on Bitcoin in the CBD in a couple of weeks.

, I'll go check if the facebook page is active..If you are in the inner west, we have a meetup organised for every Monday at 7pm @ Brooklyn's Pizza Pasta Bar Granville. They will be accepting bitcoins as payment for food and drinks. An Avalon chip Australian Group buy and board assembly will also be taking place on the night for anyone who is interested.
