It seems a new paradigm

Aren't they all.

Let's wait to see what you can actually do with it in reality and practice.

For a trader or investor, a "wait and see" strategy means buying higher with lesser chance of losing big but buying now may mean huuuuge profits.  Grin

i see as the opposite... buying now you have less chances of losing big since the price is well established. everytime i see a dump in 10~16k range i buy.

Studying past ICOs such as mETH (aka Ethereum), the big profits were made by those who purchased at ICO or on the long accumulation at rock bottom prices after the ICO pump, while waiting for the product to be released.

Those who waited for that accumulation phase had more information about the roadmap than was available during the ICO pump. And those who bought late into the ICO pump had losses during the long accumulation phase.

It is very unlikely that Synereo goes TO DA MOON on an alpha release. Come on.

Actually Synereo had a big pump already, it is 10X now. So I am cautious to buy this coin, I prefer other solid coins.

Hmm. That would be the anti-steemit trade, right? At a lower valuation.
And with yoursnetwork to come, the blockchain-based social network space is certainly poised to heat up

I was told there will be another ICO to raise more fund for the project. Anybody know when the ICO is going to commence?

September

It is since 1 year after ico, they have established a lot of work to do, and finally they will hold an alpha test next month.

Buying every new coin that shows up is not the best line of practice in trading. One has to wait and see how the coin fares before investing in it - the key to high profits is investing once the price starts to rise.

That's what they said at 1000 sats per AMP.

It is alpha, can't be said a launch, alpha is a test. Launch should be a real product, not a test, maybe in 2017

Of course, the hype and fear of missing a big gain is what drives the pump.

I guess Synereo will pump and there is nothing I could or should do to stop it (but nothing is certain).

I just don't expect much of a follow through in terms of actual usership given the design features they have enumerated, because afaics there is no strong incentive for people to join this other than the diehard supporters they've cultivated.

Investors wet their pants when the term "decentralized" is inserted into the features list, but the masses could careless about that. It is just hassle for them.

I think decentralization is important, but the masses don't. A few people will rave about decentralized but watch the actual adoption metrics to see what the masses think (and I already know they don't care).

The other aspect of paying people AMPs to view ads, doesn't work:

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/jan/28/how-much-are-you-worth-to-facebook

You aren't worth enough to advertising to make it worth your effort.

I am a Synereo fan but I do not see this as a PUMP, or intended. There is a crowdfunding next month as well as the release of the alpha phase of the social network. Its two years in the works.

Now that Steemit turned out to be a version of The Hunger Games and is fading fast...
It will be interesting to see what Synereo can deliver... it better have a search engine worthy of 2016.
