Today's match is between LSG and KKR, LSG is batting now. If we look at the match I think we can see that KKR is in a better form recently compared to LSG.

But LSG is surely in a comfortable position, obviously, a win is not going to hurt them at all. KKR really needs the win today. But I highly doubt that this win is going to be enough for KKR. KKR needs to win really big otherwise, they will be behind in terms of net run rate. If they just win this match they will be able to go ahead of RCB but that is not going to be enough. I think they will try really hard to win with a big margin in this match but that is surely some added pressure for them and I don't think they will be able to handle it.

Meanwhile Namibia is touring Zimbabwe, first T20I was played yesterday. As I was scrolling thorough scorecard, I am sadden to see that I have no idea of majority of Zimbabwe players. This team was once as strong as anyother team but now its limited to playing with associate teams.
Zimbabwe won the first T20I by 7 runs.

What happened to Natarajan? Looks as if he is not the same bowler he was before the injury. Conceded 60 runs from his 4 overs. And given the fact that the other SRH bowlers (Bhuvneshwar, Umran.etc) are in top form, his position within the playing XI will be at risk. To his credit, he was the one responsible for the dismissal of Tim David. If the latter was still there, then Mumbai would have won the match with ease. Ramandeep Singh managed some big hits, but he didn't got much support from the tail (Sanjay Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah, who scored 0 runs from 6 balls).

The game-changing over. T. Natarajan gave 26 runs on the 18th over. Tim David hit 4 over boundaries in this over. But in the last ball Natarajan takes David's wicket. Now Mumbai needs only 19 on 12 balls. The match though is now under Mumbai's control. However, I am not sure if Sanjay Yadav and Randeep Singh will be able to collect 19 runs. Bhubaneswar Kumar is a very experienced bowler. It will be difficult to collect runs in this over.

Your guess was right. Natarajan gave 26 runs in the 18th over. But in the 19th over. Bhubaneswar Kumar did not give any run. Hyderabad has won by 3 runs today because of his amazing 7 balls. But if Tim David had been able to stay at the crease, the outcome of the match would have been in Mumbai's favor today. Tim David's 46 off 18 balls was impressive.
After 18 overs, I thought that MI would be able to win the match but they didn't play well in the 19th over. If they managed to score 5-7 runs in this over, there was big chance to win without any hassle. Hyderabad played so good and they really deserved this victory.
They could have easily won the match if they had not lost the wicket of Tim David. He destroyed Natrajan and in the same over he also got run out because I felt he became over confident. The best part of the match was the struggle of Bhumrah to hit a ball in Bhuvneshwar kumar over. SRH can still qualify for the playoffs but it is very bleak now.

A very close victory by SRH today, they were about to collect there 6th consecutive defeat but luckily Tim David got run out and that turned the table towards MI. Till Ishan kishan it was very much clear that MI will lose the game because of slow batting by Ishan but David was classical today.

Mumbai lost their fifth wicket in 16.4 overs. Now they need 50 runs from 20 balls. Tim David is playing well. He is collecting 17 runs from 10 balls. He is batting responsibly enough. However, collecting 50 runs from 20 balls will not be easy. If Tim David and Ramandeep Singh both play well then maybe Mumbai will win. However, it seems very unlikely.

Mumbai's two openers are batting as destructively as it looks like they are going to win the fourth match. Mumbai scored 89 runs in 10 overs. And they haven't lost a single wicket yet. Ishan Kishan is unbeaten on 37 off 29 balls and Rohit Sharma is unbeaten on 43 off 33 balls. 105 runs required in 10 overs. To win, Mumbai still need to score more than 10.50 runs per over. Yet I think the chances of both teams winning are equal.
Ishan kishan is playing just to better his stats just like he played in last game. Match has very much slipped out of the hands of MI. If SRH wins today they might have chance to make it to next round. SRH would have easily qualified for the next round if they haven't done blunder of losing 5 matches in a row.
Mumbai's collection 127/4 in 15 overs. In the last 5 overs, they have collected only 39 runs and lost 4 wickets. 67 runs were needed to win in 5 overs. This is very difficult for Mumbai. Because I don't see any experienced batsmen in the crease. Mumbai will now have to collect 13.4 runs per over. It is very sad not to win this match even after collecting 95 runs in the first wicket partnership.

SRH put up such a big total and I don't think that Mumbai has any real chance for today. The trio of Priyam Garg, Rahul Tripathi and Nicholas Pooran took them to a total of close to 200. After good spells earlier on, both Daniel Sams and Riley Meredith leaked too many runs towards the end. Mumbai needs close to 10 runs per over and although they have got a good start, they are lagging behind as far as run rate is concerned. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan have so far added 63 runs for the first wicket. But at this point, the required run rate is close to 11 runs per over.

If Hyderabad is not unlucky then Hyderabad will win today. Because Mumbai may have played better in the last few matches. But so far this season, Mumbai's highest collection is 186 runs. It is very difficult to win by chasing such a big score. But if Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan are able to make a good start then Mumbai's chances of winning will increase.

Sunrisers Hyderabad V Mumbai Indians

Which team do you think is the favorite between today's Hyderabad and Mumbai? I think the two teams are of the same quality. I say this because Hyderabad has lost the last 5 matches. They are now eighth in the points table. . Mumbai, on the other hand, is at the bottom of the points table. However, Mumbai's performance in the last few matches was quite good. And so it seems to be a bit difficult to predict about this match.
Sunrisers Hyderabad set a target of 194 runs. But batting well from the start of the innings, I thought Hyderabad would easily cross 200 runs. But they have collected only 193 runs. They have managed to collect only 12 runs in the last 2 overs. If more than 200 targets could have been given, Hyderabad would have been more likely to win. Now I think the match will be competitive. Mumbai's batsmen are in good form now.

Right now, it is very interesting situation as far as the points table is considered. Gujarat, Rajasthan and Lucknow have already qualified. Delhi and Bangalore are having 14 points each, and one of them can qualify to the next round if they win their last group match. Kolkata and Punjab are having 12 points each and they have a remote chance of proceeding to the next round, but both Delhi and Bangalore need to lose their next match. The run rate may come to play after the last round of matches are over. LSG and KKR are having +ve Net Run Rate as of now.
Somehow the competence is between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals. RCB have low run rate and it is to play against Gujarat Titans. RCB in its previous match versus Gujarat Titans lost by six wickets and 3 balls left reaching a target of 170 runs. To win the match against Gujarat Titans, RCB needs to make better plans. On the other side Delhi Capitals is to play against Mumbai Indians which is also a hard fight, but Delhi Capitals having net run rate makes it have a win whereas RCB needs a big win.

I think RCB will surely feel the importance of a better net run rate. They really need to win Big otherwise they will not be able to go to the next stage. Unless of course, Delhi Capitals lose and RCB wins. I don't think Delhi is going to lose the match which is going to be basically the decider. RCB surely has the harder match compared to DC and I don't think they will be able to win very big to make their net run rate better.

Delhi Capitals bat first and had early blow with David warner but defeated Punjab Kings by 17 runs and inch closer towards playoffs as they moved to fourth place in the points table.  Mitchell Marsh hit a half-century, and scored 63 off 48 balls with four fours and three sixes while Sarfaraz Khan also made useful contribution to take Delhi capitals win the game.

Delhi won because of the good performance of the bowlers. The performance of the bowlers was awesome. In particular, the performance of every spin bowler was good. That is why Delhi won by 17 runs despite the low target. However, I expected Delhi to win, and I bet on their win.

Delhi Capitals VS  Panjabs Kings

Today's match between Delhi and Punjab was an exciting match. The way Delhi won the match with a target of only 160 runs is really commendable. Punjabi's collection in the first 5 overs was 53 runs. Only 107 runs were needed to win 90 balls. However, Punjab lost the match by 17 runs. Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel's controlled bowling helped Delhi win the match. Delhi are now fourth in the points table. Perhaps they will be able to qualify for the next round.

PBKS should have won the match, as they were given a good start by Bairstow. Once Bairstow got out, DC never allowed PBKS batsmen to get settled and keep on taking wickets. One reason why DC gave a low target of 160 is that Warner got out on very first ball.
Even after the wicket on the first ball Delhi Capitals continued to score good till the tenth over. After the tenth over the run rate started to fall and in the last five overs Delhi wasn't able to make good runs. Myself expected atleast 180 runs. In today's match a twist happened and David Warner might've felt bad of it. David Warner was on the runner end, and looking the option of Livingston to bowl the first over David Warner took the batting side and caught out on the very first ball to Rahul Chahar.
At the early stage of the match when Warner was out for a duck I felt DC will lose this match and again Marsh was a saviour for DC. None of the batters have contributed like Warner and Marsh have done for DC in this season. Considering this was a bowling pitch DC was able to score more than 150 runs. PBKS gave a good fight till the end but they have been inconsistent throughout this season.
