Sri lanka are messing up things  Cheesy  A drop catch and unstoppable Ross Taylor is hurting Sri lanka.
I think the match is shifted in the New Zealand favor in the last 3 overs.
Old is gold  Cheesy
I think it's still 50-50, SL need to deliver two good overs and they will win the match, however, they need to stop taylor anyhow. NZ lower order batsman aren't much experienced and it will certainly help SL at the death over.

Rain has come to add to the drama.
By the way, if the rain does not stop. NZ will won by 2 runs. How lucky would that be for NZ when Ross Taylor is just out  ?

I watched only the last 6 overs. Ideally, Kiwis should win this game easily, but everything could change in a couple of overs. In the shorter format, every team can ruin their chances in short time.
175 is the average score in this ground and Kiwis must have chased it, however, 2 earlier wickets has made it harder now. I still think with the batsman NZ have can easily chase 174.

Not following the match but seems like our World cup runner up team lost 2 wickets already. I have no interest in this T20. So, I do not bother much about it.
So, you didn't bet either? You would probably lose today as well  Grin

This chase is not going to be easy as NZ has lost 3 wickets and 62 on the board.  Unless Srilanka really mess up things, i do not see how NZ can win from here ?

No, I did not gamble. In fact I did not gamble since the World cup. Really trying myself to keep out of it and focusing on enjoying the match. Gambling is very stressful and you actually lose your analytical instinct, you will always side for the team you gambled no matter if they win or lose, plying better or not.

Actually from my experience, whenever we gamble on the team or certain score, the opposite of that started to happen.  Cheesy   As long as we are not gambling, all our predictions are coming true. The moment we think, oh yes, i am expert and can gamble on my predictions, we started to make wrong predictions.

Okay so its official they can't touch 200 runs mark. they are satisfy with singles in the 17th over and Southee has one more over left.  Lips sealed
174 for 4 is the final score.
I almost forgot about this series and the T20. I was too much into Test cricket especially in the Ashes :-P

Anyway, for the team like NZ, this should not be hard job to chase. I have not seen the Sri Lankan innings. They left 6 wickets but still they are short in scoring run. This is unusual.

This is a mid range score and any team can win this match. A good partnership between Guptill and any of the top order batsmen can easily make the game in favor of NZ.  Srilanka will be relying on Maligna to take early wickets specially Guptill. I think first five overs of NZ will tell us where this match is heading.

Edit: Malinga strikes.

Srilanka has got the good and reasonable start in first T20. It now depend upon them to make a big total for the NZ to chase.

Just for the records, the last T20 which are played here in Pallekele, Aussie score 263/3 which is the 2nd highest score in T20. This means Srilanka have to make a very big score on this batting wicket.

Don't know if SL could make big score on this pitch. 23 ball left and they still need 69 runs to reach 200. Kusal Mendis is out as well, so 200 looking tough.

SL opted to bat first. Both the team is playing under two bowlers Malinga and Southee. I think both teams will perform good, the pitch is in favor of batsman. The match is getting delayed for raining.

It has started now. Lockie Ferguson is not playing due to a thumb injury. I just hope that it is not serious. The match is taking place in the city of Kandy, which is a bit far away from Colombo. Nice to see provincial cities being given their due. Anyway, so far so good for Sri Lanka. Kusal Mendis and Kusal Perera have given them a slow, but solid start. There is no Boult/Ferguson, so they should be looking for a target in excess of 180.

Sri Lanka had a good start. 50 for 1 in 6th over. It's good to see Sri Lankan batsmen delivering. Whatever the results be, This is going to be an important series for personal record of Malinga. And this record would be a good trophy for one of the greatest pace bowler of our times.

This was a nasty loss since the odds were mere 1.06 and you went on to wage a huge bet for that, even i made those silly mistakes in the past thinking that it was a safe bet but when it comes to gambling nothing is safe as you can expect an upset anytime and that is the beauty of sporting events and so is the reason people usually love to wage a bet on underdogs.
I agree, but live betting is better in comparison. If you watched that match live, I doubt you would have placed a bet on England so early after watching their wickets fall quickly thanks to some excellent bowling spells by the Sri Lankans.

Is there anyone who have placed a bet on the T20 match between Finland and Spain. Already one match has got over, in the first match Finland has registered its win and leads the series. Now in the second T20 low target than the first match is being set by Finland. This time the target is just 135 which can be easily reached if a strong partnership is developed by the middle order players.
Very few people risk betting on these newbie teams due to obvious reasons and the match that you are referring to went to Spain and the series is a draw. The 3rd match is underway and I think Finland might post something close to 160 in this one.
As mentioned it was a 158 at the end of twenty overs. Seems a target that is hard for Spain to chase, and this match looks to be a winning for Finland. Already in the previous matches Spain struggled while chasing, and important thing in this tournament is the winning of the toss. On the three matches it is Finland to win the toss, and everytime they've chosed to bat first.

Spain played well in this match and manage to chase the score easily with 4 wickets remaining and 2 balls to spare . Though the start was not good as expected but middle order helped the spain to make a comeback in this match and helped them to win the match. Panchal 71 not out helped them to register their win.
